Last War Season 2 Kick Off : Prioritizing Coal and Alloy for Virus Resistance

Enter Last War Survival Season 2 - Polar Storm the warzone will be relocated, which is covered with ice and snow. Emperor Boreas extinguished every flame, plunging the world into an endless night of ice. To crush Emperor Boreas you need Coal to fuel the furnaces and Titanium Alloy to strengthen them. Gain a lasting advantage by topping up on LootBar with instant access to resources, boosts, and upgrades, ensuring you’ll never have to worry about falling behind in the resource race.

Coal

Coal is one of the most versatile and important resources in Season 2. Without it, your factories stop running, your Furnace upgrades stall, and your base freezes during storms.

Coal’s Key Role

  • Operating the High-Heat Furnace to maintain base temperature above 20°C and boosts Virus Resistance.

  • Constructing or upgrading seasonal buildings to produce Titanium Alloy.

  • Contributing to the Alliance Furnace, which supplies shared heating for all members in range

Coal Resources

  • First Blood Kill: The very first kill of a Doom Elite or world map enemy grants a special Coal and Titanium Alloy bonus.

Rallying with stronger allies can help overcome challenges if individual Virus Resistance is insufficient.

  • Seasonal Missions & Quests: Daily and milestone missions sprinkle Coal.

  • Cities & Dig Sites Captured:First-time captures of Cities and Dig Sites reward players with Coal and Titanium Alloy. High-level sites pay more.

  • Weekly Pass and Seasonal Battle Pass: Occasionally, you can exchange tokens for Coal packs, which can also be purchased conveniently through LootBar.

  • Special events such as Polar Dishes by feeding snowflakes.

Titanium Alloy

Titanium Alloy is mostly used to upgrade the High-Heat Furnace, which boosts Virus Resistance.

Titanium AlloyResources

  • Titanium Alloy Factories: Build and upgrade Titanium Alloy Factories. They consume Coal to produce Alloy.

3

Each factory at level 15 unlocks the next one (up to 4 total). The 5th can be obtained via theWeekly Pass.

  • First Time CapturesCities & Dig Sites: Cities and Dig Sites give big Alloy rewards for the first time claiming them.

  • First Blood Kill: The very first kill of a Doom Elite or world map enemy grants a special Coal and Titanium Alloy bonus.

The High-Heat Furnace

The High-Heat Furnace is the most important building in Season 2. It regulates base temperature and increase Virus Resistance. To upgrade High-heat Furnace, you will need Titanium Alloy.

 4

Furnace Function

  • Higher Temperature Control: Protects your base during storms by upgrading High-Heat Furnace to keep your base warm enough.

  • Virus Resistance: Every Furnace upgrade directly boosts Virus Resistance.

  • Overdrive Mode: Provides rapid heating but consumes large amounts of Coal.

High-Heat Furnace can be toggled on/off and switched to Overdrive Mode for stronger heating at a higher coal cost.

5

Commander’s Tip: Avoid 24/7 Overdrive out of habit. Overdrive heats fast and feels great, but it drinks Coal. Use it intentionally for big pushes, dangerous cold snaps, and war windows.

Virus Resistance

It doesn’t appear on troop power stats, but it indicates the strength of your base and troops against the harsh polar environment and the mutated enemies that thrive there.

Why Virus Resistance Matters Most

If your Virus Resistance is lower than advised, your troops will suffer increased damage and inflict weakened attacks in battles against Doom Elites, Zombies, or even when attacking enemy bases.

Tips to Increase Virus Resistance

  1. High-Heat Furnace Upgrades (Main Source): Each level of the Furnace increases Virus Resistance.

  2. Seasonal Building: Build and Upgrade Titanium Alloy Factories. While factories themselves don’t give direct Virus Resistance, they are the engine of Alloy production.

  3. Seasonal Quests &Missions: Award resources such as Coal and Titanium Alloy

Conclusion

Season 2 of Last War: Survival is about surviving in ice and snow. Every player must learn to balance Coal, Titanium Alloy, and the High-Heat Furnace to raise Virus Resistance. No matter how efficient you are, obstacles happen: Coal shortages before a blizzard turn your base into ice, Alloy stalls before a big Furnace upgrade, or being stuck just under the Virus Resistance requirement for a key event. By topping up strategically on Last War Survival top up, you can upgrade your Furnace faster to keep your base heated, reach Virus Resistance milestones earlier so you can defeat zombies and Doom Elites with ease, and help your alliance capture critical cities first. It is secure, faster, and more affordable.
