Attack Patterns and Dangers

During the fight the Keeper will summon some weak Yaoguai enemies like archers and melee fighters. These adds always try to look for opportunities to attack you. Phase Two: The Yin-Yang Fish Emerges

When you have almost killed the Keeper of the Flaming Mountains it retreats and summons the Yin-Yang Fish to continue the fight. This second enemy focuses on aerial and projectile attacks and has a very different fighting style from the Keeper.

When you attack the Yin-Yang Fish’s tail it can quickly counterattack you with a powerful tail slap. For this first the fish will tilt its head toward you and then hit you very fast. As soon as you see this head animation you have to dodge immediately.
When the fish is airborne it throws multiple projectiles towards you. If you stay in one place then you will find it difficult to handle them. You have to constantly run and roll to dodge them effectively.
In between attacking the fish sometimes howls for about 7 seconds. During this gap you can come closer and deal damage and the fish won’t be able to start a counterattack immediately so you will have some time to run away.
