Top 5 Player Cards from Joga Bonito in FC 26
Aitana Bonmati
Bonmati is easily the main headliner of this promo with an amazing 91-rated CM/CAM card that has 87 passing, 91 dribbling, and Tiki Taka+ which is such a good playstyle this year. A first look at her face stats makes it look like she’s overpriced, but anyone that’s used Bonmati before knows just how cracked she is in-game with amazing left stick dribbling, passing, and off-the-ball movement. Her 3m price tag isn’t one that most players can afford though, which reflects just how good she really is.
Vitinha
Vitinha is the joint-headliner of this promo along with Bonmati, at 91 rated. And rightfully so because this 91-rated card is one of the best CDMs in the game with the Deep-Lying Playmaker role. Vitinha has crazy good passing and dribbling, and base Intercept helps him make up for low defensive stats even at DM. He has Tiki Taka+ just like Bonmati and all his other base playstyles are top tier too.
Frenkie De Jong
Speaking of elite playmaking CDMs, De Jong’s 89-rated card is right up there. Defensively, he’s a lot more solid defensively than Vitinha because of his 85 defending and physicality. But, 73 shooting kills a lot of Box-to-Box potential that Vitinha is way better at, which is why he’s above on this list. Still, at 1.2m, this De Jong card is one of the best in the game and has crazy good passing, amazing base playstyles, Incisive+, and great animations.
Michael Olise
Olise's deadly left boot curls in unguardable finesse shots from anywhere thanks to the Playstyle+. As a RW with Inside Forward++, Olise is absolutely lethal. His pace isn’t the best for a winger though, and he only has 3* Weak Foot which is a huge letdown in attack at times. But, if you can get past the bad WF and use his amazing shooting, passing, and dribbling to its fullest, he’s a top-tier Bundesliga card for around 250k.
Murillo Costa dos Santos
Murillo's is a surprisingly speedy brick wall. He’s ideal for Premier League/Brazil backlines where he snags interceptions and launches counters with base Long Ball. Despite having short height for a CB, the base Aerial Fortress mostly makes up for it, and he’s an absolute unit that bullies attackers while the ball is on the ground so there’s no need to worry about physicality either. Intercept+ also keeps his off-the-ball animations top tier. Despite his short height and relatively less fame, Murillo is still 350k+ on the market currently which should tell you just how good he really is.
The Best Heroes in Joga Bonito
David Ginola
Ginola doesn’t need an introduction for any FC player. He’s been one of the best Heroes and players in general ever since he was added in FIFA 22. His base card is still one of the best attackers in the game and sits over 1m in price. But, this Joga Bonito card is a level above. With 91 pace, 90 shooting, 88 passing, and 92 dribbling all with 86 physicality too, he’s broken. The 5m+ price tag reflects that though, making Ginola a card absolutely no one can easily afford.
Maicon
Maicon is another amazing Hero card in this promo that’ll leave your RB position sorted for the next couple of months at least. He’s a great offensive and defensive wingback with Gullit Gang stats, and he feels even better than his stats already show in-game. He’s always running, always there to win balls, always there to help in attack, and his 650k price tag is well warranted.
Ricardo Quaresma
The king of travelas was finally added to the series as a Hero in FC 26. And with Gamechanger+ (obviously), his trivela shots are just as busted in-game as they were in real life. Quaresma’s Joga Bonito card is one of the best dribblers in the game and has surprisingly good shooting despite only 87 shooting in face stats. In-game, it feels like he can score from any angle, and 92 dribbling along with base trickster makes him feel like a busted meta winger in the right hands.
There are some other really good players and Heroes in the Joga Bonito event too, with more also coming in SBCs. But, these few players are the top picks this time around. And you don’t have to worry about packing them or being able to get them from the store, because LootBar offers easy access to FC 26 players at the best prices, so check them out to add any Joga Bonito players to your squad.
Conclusion
Joga Bonito has some really fun cards, especially Murillo since he’s such a “different” option than the usual meta picks. But, Ginola, Bonmati, Vitinha, and De Jong are the real show stealers. If you ever want to add them or other players to your team but don’t have enough coins, go to LootBar to buy FC 26 coins and get any of them from the transfer market!
