What is the timeline for Identity V’s 8th anniversary event?
Identity V’s 8th anniversary began on March 26 with warm-up events. However, the actual anniversary update was on April 2. Themed after hot air balloons, Season 41 Essence 3 came alongside Libero's "Visitor from Beyond" event, which played the part of the 8th anniversary event.
Aside from all of this, the 8th anniversary also has an offline event that only a select few can realistically participate in. The COA IX Global Finals are also part of the anniversary celebration and will come with a bunch of skins that you can acquire by utilizing LootBar’s services.
All Identity V Season 42 Essence 3 costumes
The highlight of this essence is naturally the offering of costumes that you can acquire. Every anniversary essence has one S-tier costume and two A-tier ones, and the same applies here.
The S-tier costume here is the Black Vulture costume for the Hullabaloo. This limited-time costume is themed around dawn and dusk, which divide time and space. It’s a play on someone who can never find their way back home to their own universe. The chances of getting this costume are fairly low, which is typical of an S-tier costume.
Then, there are two A-tier costumes that you can get. These include the Mystic Nimbus costume for the Female Costume, as well as the Rotor Wing costume for the Aeroplanist. Both costumes are absolutely solid, whether it’s the Aeroplanist’s heroic costume that seems very exaggerated, or the Female Dancer’s white-as-snow costume.
While not nearly as popular, there are some B-tier costumes that you can get, too. These include:
The Cheerleader costume for the Cicada
The Safety Line costume for the Goatman
The Dandelion costume for the Entomologist
The Peddler costume for Prospero
All Identity V Season 42 Essence 3 rank treasures
This essence also has a couple of rank treasures you can get as accessories. These include:
Dragonsong for the Composer (S-tier)
Duskfield Murmurs for the Discipline (A-tier)
Whale Fall for the Escapologist (A-tier)
Bedtime Companion for the Little Girl (B-tier)
Carved Fawn for the Gamekeeper (B-tier)
Geologist’s Hammer for the Prospector (B-tier)
Measuring Cup for Evil Reptilian (B-tier)
You have until April 23 to get all of these rewards. After that, this season will end, making all of these rewards unobtainable.
All Identity V 8th anniversary event rewards
The 8th anniversary event is called Libero's "Visitor from Beyond." It’s the eleventh installment of the Truth & Inference Series and features Mr. Inference as the main character. You can participate in it to get a bunch of rewards, including clues, music notes, and fragments. While there are multiple quests that you can participate in throughout the event, the highlights are mostly the weekly rewards.
Week 1’s reward is the Hide and Seek graffiti
Week 2’s reward is three Ranking Protection Cards
Week 3’s reward is a General A Costume Unlock Card
Then, there’s the Heroic Heart Flying Contest. You can play a limited-time mini game to get points. The more points you get, the better the reward you can expect. The table below highlights all of the rewards and required points.
| Heroic Heart Flying Contest rewards | |
| Points required | Rewards |
| 1000 | 20 Clues |
| 2000 | General Character Unlock Card |
| 3000 | 20 Fragments |
| 4000 | Emote Unlock Card |
| 5000 | 20 Spyglasses |
| 6000 | General B Costume Unlock Card |
| 7000 | 100 Clues |
| 8000 | Sea Chart Rug |
Since this event is part of Season 43 Essence 3, it makes sense that it’ll end just before the season. This means that you have until April 22 to get everything this event has to offer. The third week’s A Costume Unlock Card is this event’s highlight. and definitely should be what you aim to get, no matter what.
Conclusion
Identity V’s eighth anniversary was more underwhelming than the previous celebrations, but it still brought some nice goodies to get. In particular, there are some bundles that you can get after buying an Identity V top up or two. You can always just take advantage of the 50% costume coupons to ensure you can make the most of your top ups.
