How to Play Alucard: Jungle & EXP Lane PRO Guide

Even with the introduction of new overpowered fighter heroes in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Alucard remains a top-tier fighter because of his heavy sustain and multi-role adaptiveness.

This was mainly thanks to his patch 1.8.08 rework where his passive deals more damage and his ultimate provides consistent hybrid lifesteal. Master this hero in the jungle and EXP lanes with this top-tier Alucard MLBB guide.

MLBB Alucard Jungle Guide

Alucard has a pick rate of 0.95% as a jungle in Mythic rank and above, compared to other junglers. While he is a very rare choice, that doesn’t mean he can’t dominate the competition. Especially if you use his Lightborn Skin that provides additional early game physical damage, after topping up with lootbar.gg.

When paired up with heroes that have heavy crowd control, Alucard can burst down enemy marksmen and mages. All the while, he can survive drawn-out skirmishes because of his lifesteal.

►Alucard Jungle Spell & Emblem

Alucard Jungle Spells & Emblems

Aside from items, Alucard also needs the right spells and emblems in order to become an effective jungler. While battle spells are relatively easy to figure out, emblems may be somewhat harder to figure out for beginners.

As a jungler, your main battle spell will be Retribution. Emblems may differ based on the type of enemy heroes you are facing. However, we’ve created an emblem choice for Alucard that can be used for any situation. It’s as follows:

Assassin Emblem - For early game ganking with burst damage

  • Rupture - Gain Adaptive Penetration
  • Season Hunter - Deal more damage against Lord and Turtle
  • Killing Spree - Recover HP and gain extra Movement Speed when damaging low HP heroes

►Alucard Early Jungle Pathing & Gameplay

Finally, as you’ve locked in the proper emblems, battle spell, and items, your gameplay is all that’s left.

Starting with the skill sequence, you should max your Skill 1 first and then Skill 2. Even if Skill 2 has a lower cooldown and deals more damage, Skill 1 provides you with extra mobility and even slows enemy heroes that are hit.

Start with the Red buff for your pathing. After that, you contest the Lithowanderer or proceed to the Lava Golem to ensure you have enough EXP. Lastly, move down towards the Scavenger Crab, and then you should be level 4 before or after you get to the Fire Beetle camp.

Once you’ve hit level 4, you can start ganking with a hero that provides early-game crowd control. Initiate with Skill 1, burst with your ultimate and passive, and if need be, use Retribution to slow them down.

MLBB Alucard EXP Guide

As mentioned before, Alucard is also a great pick for the EXP lane, especially for lower ranks like Epic and Grandmaster. He is also playable in Mythic ranks and above but you need to be extremely skilled to outplay other heroes like Freya, Chou, Benedetta, and Cici. However, once you do master him with this guide, you can easily snowball and become unstoppable.

►Alucard EXP Items

 Alucard EXP Items

Alucard’s EXP lane items are quite similar to the ones he uses when in the jungle lane. He still focuses on burst damage along with long-term sustainability. Yet, there are some changes, particularly situational items that can give you an edge based on the draft.

Alucard EXP Spell & Emblems

Alucard EXP Emblems & Spell

As you are now in the EXP lane, you should expect that your counterpart on the enemy team is much tankier than you. This means, you either need to have enough damage to burst them before they can out-sustain you or you can have a head-on battle to see who is the better bruiser.

Taking into account potential enemy heroes like Gatotkaca, Esmeralda, Dyrroth, Freya, and Chou who just beat you with stats alone, this should be your standardized emblem and spells.

Vengeance - Reduces incoming damage and returns incoming damage to the attacker

Fighter Emblem - Better for sustain and duels

  • Rupture - Increase adaptive penetration
  • Master Assassin - Deal more damage in 1v1 fights
  • Brave Smite - Recover HP with skill damage

►Alucard EXP Pathing & Gameplay

The pathing for EXP lane is very simple: stay in your lane, out-scale the enemy EXP laner, and push towers. You need to be patient and outplay your opponent because most of the time, they have either more sustain or greater burst damage.

In addition, swap lanes with your gold lane whenever an Epic Monster (Lord or Turtle) is on your side of the map. If the opponent’s EXP lane does not match you, your team will have a numbers advantage and will most likely win the clash.

Only gank when you see an opportunity. If there isn’t any, focus on clearing waves and making space for your team to gain more control of the map. Because you’re always on the far side of the map, when you join team fights, you can flank squishy enemy carries like marksmen and mages as they won’t expect your presence. And if you equip one of his Lightborn Skin after getting diamonds at lootbar.gg, you’ll have an even bigger presence on the battlefield.

Conclusion

Alucard may not have the highest pick rate in high-rank games but under the right hands, with the right build, emblems, and battle spells, you can carry your team to victory.

Whether you’re using him as a jungler or in the EXP lane, make sure to take into account your opponents, have patience, and elevate your map awareness.
