How to Defeat Every ARC in ARC Raiders - Complete Combat and Enemy Guide

ARC Raiders is a very intense extraction shooter game where you have to explore dangerous areas filled with human Raiders as well as other robot enemies called ARCs. These enemies have different types of behaviors, sizes and threat levels. If you want to survive in such a hostile environment then you have to know how each ARC behaves. You have to understand their weaknesses and prepare accordingly so that you can target their weak points.

In this guide you will learn about every ARC type and what strategies you should use so that you can maximize your efficiency and win more battles successfully. You can easily buy the game using an ARC Raiders Steam key from LootBar, the most reputed and trusted marketplace.

Basic Enemy ARCs

The first category of ARCs consists of smaller enemies that you will see a lot in areas like Spoils, buildings and open terrain. These include drones, scouts, and quick ambushers that are weak but if you are unprepared then you can be easily overwhelmed.

Wasp

Wasps are small flying drones that have guns with high speed firing. If you are in their line of sight then they can very quickly deplete your health and shields. Their main weakness is their thrusters. If you shoot any 2 of those thrusters then they will lose control and crash and then you can easily eliminate them. Try to position yourself behind cover when you are fighting and try to use weapons with good mid-range accuracy.

Hornet

Hornets are like Wasps but stronger. They fire electric shock projectiles that deal damage and can disrupt movement so it can be very dangerous if you try to fight in front of them. Their front thrusters have armor so try to target their rear thrusters with heavy or medium ammo to drop them from the sky. They can easily stun you so try to dodge them by moving sideways.

Snitch

Snitches are a type of recon unit. When they see you they send a signal which then brings in more Wasps and Hornets. As soon as you see them try to eliminate them before they can finish their beacon call. Target their weak underside plating to make it a bit easier.

Pop and Tick

There are also some ground-based enemies like Pops and Ticks. Pops will move towards you and when they get close they explode. However you can easily eliminate them with 1 or 2 accurate shots from any weapon. Ticks are small spider-like bots and latch on to you while training your health. Again, you can easily eliminate them with melee or ranged weapons.

Turret and Sentinel

Lastly there are some threats that stay in one place without moving. Turrets are fixed guns that will scan a room and fire rapidly once they detect you or any other player. However they don’t have a weak point as such. So try to take cover and shoot in small rounds so that they cannot lock on to you. Sentinels are similar to Turrets but they have longer range and you will need heavy ammo to properly eliminate them.

Mid-Tier Enemy ARCs

These ARCs combine durability with tactical complexity. From this point you will need some good combat experience if you want to be successful. Use an LootBar game key to buy the game and then play for long times during the early stages to get used to all the combat mechanics of the game.

Surveyor

Surveyors are large rolling spheres with scanning lasers that run away when you damage them. Now they have armor and it is difficult to hit them properly when they are rolling around. But when they stop scanning for a short time then you can expose and blast their core to easily eliminate them.

Rocketeer

When you progress further you will see that Rocketeers are a bit trickier to handle. These fly in the air and fire guided rockets that can kill you in just 1 shot if they catch an open angle. But their thrusters are their major weak points. If you destroy their thrusters using heavy ammo then they will immediately lose control and crash. Try to use cover and time your attacks by listening to your environments for rockets or other attacks.

Bastion

Bastions are heavy gun platforms that have limited movement. They have extreme firepower that can wipe your whole squad in a matter of seconds. They have multiple armor layers but the yellow points on their rear and leg joints are their weak points. If you can damage these spots then they will be stunned for a short time. This will expose their core parts and you can attack them to easily eliminate the Bastion.

Bombardier and Spotter

Bombardiers are very similar to Bastions but they use mortar rockets with longer range. Because of this you will need to use the terrain and buildings around you to take cover so that they cannot see you. Try to eliminate the associated Spotter units to decrease their targeting precision. Also attack their bomb launchers and leg joints which are their main weak points.

Advanced Enemy ARCs

These are the most difficult ARC units and you will need to master combat mechanics as well as good cooperation among your squad members.

Leaper

Leapers are huge spider-like robots that can jump long distances to close the gap to you and then attack using shockwave. They can be challenging because they can move around very fast and they also have high damage output. To avoid them you have to use buildings or fast vertical structures to block their path. Then focus your attacks on their legs and face with heavy weapons. This will deplete their armor and after that you can easily eliminate them with a few hits.

The Queen

The Queen is almost like a boss encounter. The Queen appears only in some specific map conditions. She attacks using laser, ground slams, EMP waves and constantly spawning smaller ARCs. To defeat her you have to target her leg joints and face and then use heavy weapons like Hullcrackers or similar launchers. In the meantime you have to constantly keep killing those other smaller ARCs. You have to carefully time your attacks when she pauses in between using her abilities.

Matriarch

Matriarch was introduced in later updates and is considered even harder than the Queen. It uses homing missiles, flashbangs, gas mines, and can even call other advanced ARCs. You have to always keep some cover between you and The Matriarch. Attack constantly to deplete her shields and target her limbs or face to break armor before sustaining focused damage.

Conclusion

If you understand each ARC’s behavior and weak points then you can get more confidence and be able to plan a good strategy before getting into a battle, which will highly improve your chances of success.
