Memory of Chaos is a challenging end-game mode in Honkai: Star Rail, where you must face two encounters consisting of two waves of enemies, the second wave being a boss enemy with an immense HP pool. Two separate teams are required for both of the encounters. The goal of Memory of Chaos is to earn 3 stars by completing both encounters in 10 cycles and having no teammates defeated during the battle. Additionally, the player is given a passive buff known as Memory Turbulence to assist you in defeating these difficult encounters!

The Memory Turbulence for Version 3.7 - Monkey Business provides the following buff for players:

Breaking an Elite or Boss enemy's weakness adds an additional 1 Hits Per Action, stacking up to 10 hits. In this node, single-target damage is strongly preferred since the waves consist of two, then one enemy. For this reason, the Archer team excels in this stage because of his very high single-target damage and can easily burn through Skill Points to deal with Sam's enhanced state. Despite Sam's mechanics, the Castorice team is still capable of easily clearing this stage if you have Cyrene's buff to Castorice to enhance her single-target damage. Both teams also benefit from this version's Memory Turbulence.
The Anaxa team also excels in single-target encounters, as his bounce damage will quickly deplete the large HP pool of the boss. His ability to Weakness Implant allows his team to fully take advantage of the current Memory Turbulence. Aglaea prefers single-target encounters and is on-element for this node. With the addition of Hyacine to her team, you will be able to spend skill points to deal with the boss's mechanics.

In this node, a variety of line-ups are capable of defeating the boss, but Phainon is going to be the premier pick as he will easily stack Memory Turbulence as a Physical DPS, and his Bounce damage will not be wasted on multiple targets. Another strong on-element pick for this node will be the Hysliens DoT team, who also easily can stack the Memory Turbulence buff for this version and won't encounter much difficulty in clearing if correctly built.
Another line-up for this node that can easily clear at low cost is the Anaxa team, like in the first node, he will easily ensure Memory Turbulence reaches its max hit potential, thanks to Cerydra duplicating his skill, which can allow him to consecutively skill 4 times! His bounce damage won't go to waste due to the low target waves in this node, making him a very strong team for this encounter.
Despite not being on-element for this node, Castorice remains at the top of the meta and is capable of easily brute-forcing the current endgame content, and Hoolay's fast actions provide her with a lot of Newbud charge to deal more damage, making her a strong pick.
