☛ Basic Introduction

Fugue is a five-star Fire Nihility character. As a powerful Break Effect support unit, Fugue brings a fresh mechanic to the game with her unique Cloudflame Luster effect, applied through her talent, which amplifies her role in Break teams. Following Jiaoqiu, she is only the second Fire Nihility character in the game but offers a distinct playstyle focused on break support rather than direct damage. Fugue is expected to be a prime replacement for Imaginary Trailblazer in the meta Break teams due to her ability to deal Super Break DMG via her talent. For free-to-play players, Fugue is especially appealing, as her effectiveness relies primarily on Break Effect stats, making her both efficient and cost-effective to build.

☛ Trace Priority

Fugue relies mostly on her Talent and Skill rather than her Basic ATK and Ultimate since her Basic ATK and Ultimate is used only for reducing the toughness of the enemy. To maximize her potential, focus on upgrading her Talent, Skill, and then her Ultimate with Basic ATK being the last. In short, her trace priority is Talent > Skill > Ultimate > Basic ATK.

☛ Light Cones

1. Best

Honkai Star Rail - Fugue signature light cone - Long Road Leads Home

Long Road Leads Home

Increasesthe wearer's Break Effect by 60%. When an enemy target's Weakness gets broken, there is a 100% base chance to inflict the "Charring" state on it, which increases its Break DMG taken by
20%, lasting for 2 turn(s). This effect can stack 2 time(s).

This light cone gives Fugue Break Effect to hit her Break Effect requirement easier and increases Break DMG taken by the enemy which ultimately increases teamwide Break DMG including Super Break DMG.

2. Good

Honkai Star Rail - light cone - Before the Tutorial Mission Starts

 Before the Tutorial Mission Starts

Increases the wearer's Effect Hit Rate by 20%. When the wearer attacks DEF-reduced enemies, regenerates 4 Energy.

This light cone gives Fugue Effect Hit Rate which helps Fugue in applying DEF reduction through her Skill. And when attacking enemy with DEF reduction regenerates extra Energy to help her use Ultimate faster.

Honkai Star Rail - light cone - Resolution ShinesAs Pearls of Sweat

 Resolution ShinesAs Pearls of Sweat

When the wearer hits an enemy and if the hit enemy is not already Ensnared, then there is a 60% base chance to Ensnare the hit enemy. Ensnared enemies' DEF decreases by 12% for 1 turn(s).

This light cone reduces enemy DEF and with her Skill also reducing DEF further to increase the Break DMG taken by the enemy.

3. Budget

Honkai Star Rail - light cone - Solitary Healing

 Solitary Healing

Increases the wearer's Break Effect by 20%. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases DoT dealt by the wearer by 24%, lasting for 2 turn(s). When a target enemy suffering from DoT imposed by the wearer is defeated, regenerates 4 Energy for the wearer.

This light cone gives Fugue Break Effect to help her reach the Break Effect requirement easier and regenerates extra Energy if the enemy has DoT imposed by her via Break (this does not happen all the time since she doesn’t usually break).
