Anomaly Arbitration Overview

Anomaly Arbitration is the most difficult endgame mode currently available in Honkai: Star Rail. The objective is to complete the 3 Knight encounters, requiring 3 unique lineups to earn a maximum of 9 stars. Once the Knights are defeated, you can challenge the King in Check stage with a single team. It is possible to challenge the King stage before completing the Knights, but this enhances the King's power significantly, so it is recommended to defeat the Knight stages before attempting the King stage.

A variety of teams can perform well on this Knight. Due to the enemy trait, Remembrance teams like Castorice and Evernight will have the best performance, as Castorice will charge Newbud quickly from the HP loss. Because of the Cyclonic Swarm Mothers' mechanics, the DoT team performs well as they will take more frequent damage from debuffs. Alternatively, Phainon is quite strong on this stage because of the low enemy count.

Because of the Crit DMG% reduction, any team that doesn't rely on dealing Crit DMG is a great choice on this stage, including the Super Break teams and the DoT team. If you want to use a lineup that deals Crit DMG, the best option for this stage will be Evernight due to the enhancements that Cyrene and Trailblazer (Remembrance) provide, allowing Evernight to brute force this stage despite the enemy trait.

Because of Ichor Memosprite's mechanics, bringing a shielder is highly recommended, with the best choice being Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae. However, if you want to run Super Break, due to the high amount of Toughness damage, a shield is not necessary. All of the teams listed perform well on this stage, but Phainon and Anaxa have the best performance.

Important note with the Evernight lineup, it is optimal to give Dan Heng's Skill to Trailblazer (Remembrance) as they are the only member of the team that will benefit from the ATK buffs he provides.

Depowered: When entering combat, reduces ally target's Energy by 50% and decreases their Energy Regeneration Rate by 50% outside of their turn for 2 turn(s).
Unending Refinement: After the enemy target takes DMG, reduces DMG taken by this unit by 2% and CRIT DMG taken by 4%, stacking up to 10 time(s). These stacks are cleared when the enemy target's turn begins or when they enter the Weakness Break state. While the enemy target is in the Weakness Break state, stacks cannot be accumulated.

Increases all ally targets' Break Effect by 60%. Each time an enemy target's Toughness is reduced to 0, increases Break DMG taken by that target by 15%, stacking up to 4 times.

Impassioned Spirits

Increases all ally targets' ATK by 40%. When using "Horizon's Echo From Afar," additionally increases all ally targets' ATK by 20%, this effect is stackable.

Seize the Moment

Increases all ally targets' DMG by 40%. After an ally target uses an attack, applies Weakness corresponding to this unit's Type to the attacked enemy target. This effect is removed when the enemy target recovers from Weakness Break state.

If you don't have a team that matches the reccomended types for this stage, Seize The Moment is mandatory to use due to the bosses traits. If you have a team that can implant weaknesses and rely on ATK, Impassioned Spirits will be the best pick. Teams that rely on Break will benefit the most from No Break No Rise.

Many different teams can perform well on this boss. With the introduction of The Dahila, Firefly is a very competitive team and is a perfect counter to the boss's traits, further enhanced by the No Break No Rise buff. Phainon and Anaxa can implant their Weakness Types and benefit from the Impassioned Spirits buff. Using the Seize the Moment buff, the Remembrance teams with Castorice or Evernight as your Main DPS are also very strong on this stage.

Conclusion
