On August 31st, Honkai Star Rail Official has launched the 2.5 Special program, offcially announced the 2.5 banners. Surprisingly, there are going to be four rerun characters this version and a new gacha system is introduced. So if you are interested, please keep reading! Highlights:
1. The hsr 2.5 banners features the Feixiao, Robin, Kafka and Black Swan in the first phase, along with Lingsha and Topaz in the second.
2. Feixiao is a five-star Wind character from the path of The Hunt, with strong single-target damage.
3. Lingsha is a five-star Fire character from the path of Abundance and is a potential teammate in Firefly Super Break team.
4. Moze is a four-star Lightening character from the path of The Hunt.

As usual, version 2.5 introduces two new 5-star characters: Feixiao and Lingsha. And it's clear that Feixiao will be available in the first half of the update, followed by Lingsha in the second half.
Regarding the highly anticipated rerun banners, four characters will return in the 2.5 banners. In the first half, we'll see Robin, Kafka, and Black Swan, while Topaz will be featured in the second half. This news do come as a surprise to some, but it makes sense when you consider the need to accelerate the rerun schedule. Without this, many characters might not get their rerun banners for a long time. So, if you're aiming to play the Kafka DoT team, be sure to save more pulls!
Additionally, the four-star characters have been revealed. The new character Moze will appear in the first half, along with Luka and Asta. The second half will feature Misha, Natasha, and Guinaifen. As for weapon banner in each phase, please see the information in the picture below.

Three New Characters in 2.5 banners
Feixiao
Feixiao is a five-star Wind character from the path of The Hunt. She will be the first Wind Hunt unit since the four-star version of Dan Heng, which was released at the beginning of the game. Feixiao's abilities are rumored to focus on weakness breaks and follow-up attacks. However, characters on the Hunt path generally struggle with handling multiple enemies, which might limit Feixiao's overall strength.

Lingsha
Lingsha is a five-star Fire character from the path of Abundance, speculated to have diverse support abilities. She will be a key member of the Super Break team of Firefly, featuring abilities such as dispelling debuff and turning Break Effect Stats to ATK and Outgoing Healing Boost. Lingsha's summoned rabbit not only provides healing but also automatically activates to offer additional support when a team member's health is low. This makes her a promising candidate to become the next essential healer after Huohuo, potentially affecting Luocha's role in the game.

Moze
Moze is a four-star Lightening character from the path of The Hunt, set to join the DPS roster in Honkai Star Rail 2.5. His Lightning element makes him a strong choice against enemies weak to this type. He can mark a sigle enemy as the Prey. And after allies attack the Prey, Moze can additionally deal 1 instance of Additional Lightning DMG.
