Hollow Knight: Silksong takes what its predecessor did and expands on it. The game has new mechanics, such as Silk Soar and Needolin. You will also be able to explore new areas and fight unique bosses. Another interesting element is Mementos. These items weren’t in Hollow Knight and are a new addition to Silksong. They aren’t easy to get, but here’s how you can obtain all the Mementos in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

What are Mementos?
Mementos are decorative collectibles that you can find in Act 3 of the game. They are typically obtained by defeating bosses or rewarded for completing quests. There are a total of 9 Mementos in the game, with only 8 being obtainable in a single playthrough. This is because 2 Mementos are tied to a choice, effectively setting up a scenario where you can only get 1. Mementos are essentially in-game trophies, and don’t unlock new abilities, progress the game, or change the ending. If you want to collect them, but don’t have the game, you can get Hollow Knight: Silksong from LootBar!
Why collect Mementos?
Here are some reasons why you would want to collect them:
Achievement: Collecting Mementos is a sign of completion and achievement, as they are obtained through hard challenges
Aesthetics: Mementos can be displayed in your Bellhome and add an element of personalization to the game
Difficulty: Many of the challenges you must complete to obtain Mementos require a high skill mastery and knowledge of mechanics, which makes them a test of skill
Trophy: Some Mementos are tied to game trophies, making them necessary to get
How to Get All Mementos
Mementos can be obtained by completing quests or defeating bosses, and each one has a different task you must complete.
There are some prerequisites for finding Mementos:
Act 3: You must have Act 3, as most of the Mementos require it
Bellhome: This is obvious, but you need to have Bellhome, or you won’t be able to display Mementos
Needolin: Some Memento tasks require music
Silk Soar: Some Mementos require you to super jump to them
