Release Date

Mualani is set to make her debut in the initial rollout of Genshin Impact's version 5.0, scheduled for August 28, 2024. She is one of the trio of new characters to grace the Genshin Impact 5.0 banners, joined by Kachina and Kinich. Mualani will be featured in the first phase's banner, sharing the spotlight with Kaedahara Kazuha and Kachina.

Basic Information

During combat, Mualani has the unique ability to invoke a shark-like surfboard, employing it to slam into foes and tag them for subsequent heightened damage. While mounted on this aquatic steed, her standard attacks are upgraded, inflicting greater harm to adversaries. A significant portion of her damage potential is tied to her maximum HP, and as a 5-star Hydro catalyst user, she shares similarities with Neuvillette, though without the inherent health-depletion mechanics that amplify her strikes. Additionally, Mualani can harness the mount to boost her travel speed across the game's landscape, even outside of combat scenarios.

Mualani's talent priority

Elemental Skill>> Elemental Burst>> Normal Attack

Mualani's damage potential is primarily driven by her Elemental Skill, which should be the first to be leveled up. Following that, her Elemental Burst offers substantial emergency Burst Damage and should be the second priority for leveling. Despite her damage being classified as Normal Attack DMG, Mualani's Normal Attack talent does not directly increase this damage type, making it the least urgent to level up and can be done last.
