Floor 12 Information for Version 6.2

DurationDecember 16, 2025 - January 16, 2026
Blessing of the Abyssal Moon: Whirlwind MoonWhen the active character triggers Swirl on an opponent, a shockwave will be unleashed at the opponent's position, dealing True DMG. This effect can be triggered once every 2s.
Ley Line Disorder
  • First Half: Off-field characters gain a 75% Pyro DMG Bonus.
  • Second Half: Characters' Plunging Attack DMG increased by 75%.

The current Abyssal Moon Blessing isn’t particularly impactful, but it can get triggered easily and be a small advantage for characters like Venti, Kazuha or Sucrose. However, you shouldn’t feel obligated to run them just for a bit of extra damage — properly responding to the enemy mechanics is far more important for a stable clear.

For the Leyline Disorders, the first half heavily favors Off-field Pyro characters with AoE Damage, such as Durin, but also Xiangling. The second half strongly benefits Plunge units, giving characters such as Varesa and Gaming a clear advantage, and running a Plunge DPS is generally recommended given the enemy lineup this cycle.

Chamber One

Chamber Goal

★Remaining challenge time longer than 300 sec.
★Remaining challenge time longer than 420 sec.

First Half

Wave 1 - 5

Recon Log Mek

Recon Log Mek - Pneuma×5 (×5 Waves)

Wave 6- 10

Fatui Cryo Cicin Mage

Fatui Cryo Cicin Mage×3 (×5 Waves)

Wave 11

Construction Special Mech

Construction Specialist Mek - Pneuma×1

Since this half consists of eleven waves, with most waves spawning multiple enemies, teams with crowd control and AoE damage are very recommended. Due to the Fatui Cryo Cicin Mages in Wave 6-10, bringing Pyro is recommended, as it is the most efficient element when it comes to breaking Cryo shields. Characters with high crowd control, such as Venti or Kazuha are also recommended.

Tips: Certain teams with flexible or short rotations might have an advantage, as they don't have to set up a new long rotation each time a new wave spawns, characters like Arlecchino or Neuvillette will do well in this chamber.

Second half

Wave 1

Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel

Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel ×1

Wave 2

Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel

Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel ×1

The second half consists of two waves, featuring one Mountain Weasel on each wave. Upon burrowing itself underground, it will gain a shield equal to its max HP. After the weasel gets hit by a plunge attack, it will lose 25% of its shield. This is the reason why Plunge DPS are highly recommended for this chamber.

Tip: Kazuha's skill plunge will also count as a plunge, Venti or Xianyun can also enable Plunge attacks.

Chamber two

Chamber Goal

Wave 3

Ruin Guard

Ruin Guard×1

Wave 4

Ruin Drake Skywatch

Ruin Drake: Skywatch×1

The first half features multiple Waves with medium to high amounts of HP. Since the first two waves feature multiple enemy at the same time, neither AoE or Single-target teams have a disadvantage, as long as the team provides enough damage per second.

Second half

Wave 1

Veteran Tainted Water-Spouting Phantasm

Veteran Tainted Water-Spouting Phantasm×1

Wave 2

Veteran Tainted Water-Splitting Phantasm

Veteran Tainted Water-Splitting Phantasm×1

The second half features two Hydro Phantasms, which both have permanent hydro aura. This encourages the use of Elements that can react to Hydro, such as Pyro, Cryo or Dendro.

Chamber three

Chamber Goal

Goal★Remaining challenge time longer than 180 sec.
★Remaining challenge time longer than 300 sec.
★Remaining challenge time longer than 420 sec.

First half

Wave 1

Super-Heavy Landrover Mechanized Fortress

Super-Heavy Landrover: Mechanized Fortress ×1

This new Enemy has a special mechanic: It starts with a lot of resistance to all elements, by dealing Pyro Damage, you can increase its special bar. Whenever the pyro bar reaches 50%, the resistance will drop. Upon reaching 100% on the pyro bar, the boss will receive a Cryo shield, which when broken will reduce the resistance of the boss by even more, hence bringing characters with high Pyro application is recommended.

Second Half

Wave 1

Veteran Arithmetic Enhancer Mek

Veteran Arithmetic Enhancer Mek×1

The Veteran Arithmetic Enhancer Mek will unleash a Gravity Reduction Field, making characters jump significantly higher, as well as a Geo shield at the start, which increases its resistance to all elements by 200%. Plunge Attacks performed by either sword, claymore and polearm users, or Geo attacks are most efficient at breaking the shield.

Tip:Hitting the boss with the pneuma-arkhe (fontanian character mechanic, e.g. Neuvillette, Lyney, Furina)  while it is not shielded will cause it to lose Arkhe and become stunned for a short period of time.

Floor 12 Recommended Teams

First Half

1. Flexible Pyro teams

Since Chamber 1 and 3 highly recommend the use of Pyro, and flexible rotations are prefered in a multi-wave scenario, Pyro teams with long buff or skill durations are most suitable, hence characters like Durin, Arlecchino and even Xiangling are great.

Conclusion

Genshin Impact Version 6.2 provided us with another challenging abyss with multiple difficult bosses. It requires clever teambuilding for both the first and second half, requiring the use of Pyro in the first half, while encouraging Plunge characters in the second half, which furthermore is recommended due to the Leyline Disorders buffing respective chambers. This guide provided specific team recommendations while giving an overview of the enemies and buffs for this abyss rotation.
