Genshin Impact 4.6 Arlecchino Team Composition Recommendation: Pure Pyro Team, Overloaded Team, and Vaporize Team!

With the update of Genshin Impact 4.6, it's believed that many players have already obtained Arlecchino. Today, I'm bringing you a team composition guide for Arlecchino.
Arlecchino, the new Pyro polearm wielder, focuses on field DPS, primarily enhancing normal attacks with "Bond of Life." Unlike traditional Pyro DPS characters, Arlecchino boasts high damage output and excellent handling with a large attack range.

However, due to its unique mechanics, Arlecchino's team composition is limited. Arlecchino's elemental infusion follows the rule of either three attacks or an elemental infusion every 2.5 seconds. Therefore, while Vaporize teams can be played with Arlecchino due to its high attack frequency and large attack range, they are not the first choice. Currently, for comfortable operation and good handling with Arlecchino, teams mainly focus on either pure Pyro or Overloaded compositions, with Vaporize teams being a secondary option.

1. Arlecchino+ Bennett+ Zhongli+ Yun Jin

As the team's primary DPS, Arlecchino holds the field, needing to avoid healing due to "Bond of Life." Additionally, with a close-range attack module, Arlecchino relies on Zhongli's shield for protection. Zhongli's shield provides a 35% damage bonus and a 20% resistance reduction, making it highly suitable for Arlecchino, often referred to as the "mini Kazuha." Bennett, due to his skill characteristics, refrains from healing when above 70% health, while his Elemental Burst can provide a significant attack boost, fitting well with Arlecchino's attack model. With Bennett at full health, Arlecchino also receives an additional 15% Pyro damage bonus. Yun Jin, on the other hand, can provide the "Flying Cloud Flag Formation," amplifying damage while also increasing Arlecchino's normal attack damage and attack speed. Moreover, the team benefits from resonance effects, with both Geo and Pyro resonances, enhancing attack power and damage output.

Currently, this team composition provides a comfortable environment for Arlecchino as a pure Pyro DPS, offering both damage amplification and survivability. However, it lacks crowd control abilities, making it more suitable for boss encounters. Of course, confident players can swap Zhongli for Kazuha, in which case it's advisable for Arlecchino to unlock "One Life" to improve interruption resistance and mitigate the consequences of Zhongli's absence.

2. Arlecchino+ Thoma+ Kazuha+ Bennett

Replacing Zhongli and Yun Jin with Thoma and Kazuha, while maintaining survivability, adds Kazuha's crowd control capabilities. Additionally, with a triple Pyro team, the energy regeneration pressure on all characters in the team is significantly reduced. Thoma, when at full health, also offers some support abilities, enhancing Arlecchino's normal attack damage. Kazuha's damage amplification further supplements the team's damage output. Overall, each team composition, whether Arlecchino + Yun Jin + Zhongli + Bennett or the new setup, has its own strengths, adapting to different situations. This new team composition is clearly more suitable for scenarios with multiple enemies and performs well against high-resistance bosses.

3. Arlecchino+ Kazuha+ Zhongli+ Bennett

The old father replaced his son's position and formed a new team. This team encompasses various support abilities such as crowd control, damage amplification, and resistance reduction, making it the most comprehensive team, albeit sacrificing some powerful support abilities.

In these three teams, one character remains unchanged, and that is Bennett. Despite being joked about as an "internal combustion engine" after entering the Abyss, Bennett's boosts are invaluable to Arlecchino. His significant attack boost serves as the most obvious damage amplifier for all attack-oriented characters. Despite Bennett's flaws, such as his Elemental Burst and Elemental Skill locking teammates in, he remains one of the best fits for supporting Arlecchino.

You might wonder if there's an alternative team composition without Bennett. Indeed, there is. Introducing our second option, Chevreuse. Chevreuse, the designated support for overloaded teams, can provide a 60% increase in Pyro and Electro damage, along with a 40% reduction in Pyro and Electro resistance when at full health, as well as roughly 500 points of attack increase. Additionally, Chevreuse has a small amount of healing, although it conflicts slightly with Arlecchino's Bond of Life (as Arlecchino cannot be healed). However, Arlecchino can still benefit fully from Chevreuse's effects.

In Genshin Impact, healing is determined as follows: when Character A heals Character B, regardless of whether B's health is restored, Character A is considered to have healed Character B. In other words, "my healing" does not equate to "your health recovery." As long as healing is performed, the corresponding buffs can be enjoyed, such as the damage increase provided by Chevreuse's full health effect.

Therefore, with Chevreuse as the core, the following team compositions can be derived:

4. Arlecchino+ Chevreuse+ Beidou+ Fischl

Arlecchino and Chevreuse form the core of the team. Since Chevreuse's talents require pairing with Pyro and Electro characters, with two slots left, we can choose Beidou and Fischl to form a resonance of two Pyro and two Electro characters. Beidou can provide significant damage, interruption resistance, and damage reduction. After unlocking her constellations, she can also gain a shield and reduce Electro resistance. Meanwhile, Fischl can trigger Overload with her attacks, while also providing solid damage output herself.

5. Arlecchino+ Chevreuse+ Bennett\Thoma\Dehya\Xiangling+ Fischl

Apart from teams with two Pyro and two Electro characters, the Arlecchino and Chevreuse team can also opt for a composition of three Pyro and one Electro character. For the third Pyro character, options include a Pyro support for survivability or Xiangling. For the Electro character, Fischl is preferred due to her lack of energy pressure, ability to continuously apply Electro status in the background, and consistent damage output, making her well-suited for Arlecchino's need to hold the field for extended periods.

However, the Arlecchino overload team also has a downside: it's not well-suited for dealing with groups of enemies and is only effective against bosses, a situation often referred to as "punching the dummy." This limitation stems from the fact that overloads tend to launch smaller enemies away, restricting their effectiveness in certain scenarios.

6. The Vaporize Team

Arlecchino, paired with Xingqiu, Yelan, Furina, and other Hydro supports in the background, while other team members such as Zhongli, Kazuha, Bennett, and others act as assistants, forms the Vaporize Team. This team certainly packs a punch and is comparable in strength to pure Pyro and Overload teams. However, due to Arlecchino's lower reaction rate, the Vaporize Team doesn't have a particularly significant advantage.

For other Vaporize Teams, you can consider compositions involving characters like Hu Tao and Yoimiya.
