Sucrose Character Introduction
Sucrose Gameplay
Sucrose's gameplay centers around her ability to share Elemental Mastery with teammates through her passive talents. Her A1 Passive, grants 50 Elemental Mastery to party members with the matching element for 8 seconds whenever Sucrose triggers a Swirl reaction. Her A4 Passive, grants all party members (excluding Sucrose) 20% of Sucrose's own Elemental Mastery for 8 seconds when her Elemental Skill or Burst hits an opponent. This makes stacking Elemental Mastery on Sucrose incredibly valuable, as she can share hundreds of EM to her entire team.
Her Elemental Skill creates a small Wind Spirit that pulls opponents and objects towards its location before launching them, dealing Anemo damage and generating 4 energy particles when hitting at least one target. The skill's short cooldown and grouping capability make it excellent for both crowd control and energy generation. Her Elemental Burst hurls an unstable concoction that creates a Large Wind Spirit (Crystalfly) which continuously pulls and launches nearby enemies while dealing AoE Anemo damage over 6 seconds. The Burst can absorb Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro elements to deal additional elemental damage with each pulse.
Her primary strengths include providing massive Elemental Mastery buffs that dramatically increase reaction damage, excellent crowd control from both Skill and Burst with consistent enemy grouping, holding Viridescent Venerer 4-piece to shred enemy elemental resistance by 40%, versatile playstyle working as both off-field support and on-field driver, and being easily accessible as a 4-star character with high constellation potential. She functions effectively at C0, making her extremely F2P-friendly.
However, she has some limitations. Her Burst's Elemental Absorption can be inconsistent and difficult to control, often absorbing undesired elements. Her crowd control is less powerful than Venti or Kazuha against heavier enemies. Her personal damage is relatively low compared to other Anemo characters. Most of her value lies in her passive talents rather than her active abilities, meaning talent levels are less impactful.

Upcoming Hexerei Buffs (Version 6.2)
In the upcoming Version 6.2 update, Sucrose will receive significant buffs through the Hexerei Resonance mechanic after completing Witch's Homework: Of Wonderland Flowers. These buffs activate when paired with at least one other Hexerei character (Durin, Venti, Klee, Albedo, Mona, Fischl, or Razor).
The core buff introduces the "Witch's Eve Rite: Sevenfold Transmutation" passive: When Sucrose creates a Small Wind Spirit (using her Elemental Skill), nearby party members gain a 5.7% increase to all damage types (Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, Plunging Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Bursts) for 15 seconds. When she creates a Large Wind Spirit (using her Elemental Burst), nearby Hexerei characters gain an even stronger 7.1% increase to all damage types for 20 seconds.
Her C6 constellation also receives a significant enhancement in Version 6.2. In addition to its original effect (granting 20% Elemental DMG Bonus when the Burst absorbs an element), C6 will now also provide an 8.5% Elemental DMG Bonus specifically to Hexerei character teammates, making it significantly more valuable in Hexerei team compositions.
These buffs transform Sucrose from purely an Elemental Mastery support into a dual-purpose character who provides both EM sharing and flat damage amplification. The damage buffs are universal and stack with her existing EM sharing capabilities, making her an even more valuable team member in Hexerei compositions. While the percentage increases may seem modest, they apply to all damage instances and synergize with her frequent skill and burst usage.

Normal Attack: Wind Spirit Creation
• Normal Attack
Performs up to 4 attacks using Wind Spirits, dealing Anemo DMG.

Elemental Burst: Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II
Sucrose hurls an unstable concoction that creates a Large Wind Spirit.While it persists, the Large Wind Spirit will continuously pull in surrounding opponents and objects, launch nearby opponents, and deal Anemo DMG.
Elemental Absorption
If the Wind Spirit comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro energy, it will deal additional elemental DMG of that type.Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use.

When Sucrose triggers a Swirl reaction, all characters in the party with the matching element (excluding Sucrose) have their Elemental Mastery increased by 50 for 8s.
2 Mollis Favonius
When Astable Anemohypostasis Creation - 6308 or Forbidden Creation - Isomer 75 / Type II hits an opponent, increases all party members' (excluding Sucrose) Elemental Mastery by an amount equal to 20% of Sucrose's Elemental Mastery for 8s.
3 Astable Invention
When Sucrose crafts Character and Weapon Enhancement Materials, she has a 10% to obtain double the product.
