According to the latest leaks, Genshin Impact Version 6.4 is expected to introduce one new 5★ characters: Varka. Varka is rumored to appear in the first half of the update. As for rerun banners, Flins, Skirk and Escoffier are also expected to return in Version 6.4.

Genshin 6.4 (Luna V) New Character
Varka — 5★ Anemo Claymore
Varka is a 5-star Anemo Claymore who mainly act as a main DPS in combat. His Normal Attack wields dual claymores to perform up to 5 consecutive strikes. His Elemental Skill allows him to enter Stormward Charge, during which his Normal Attack DMG is increased. While in Stormward Charge, if there are Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo characters in the party, Varka’s Elemental Skill is converted into the special Elemental Skill Four Winds’ Ascension, dealing both Anemo DMG and the corresponding elemental DMG. Additionally, if there are at least two Anemo characters, or at least two characters of the same element among Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo in the party, Four Winds’ Ascension will deal increased damage. If both conditions are met at the same time, this damage bonus is further enhanced.

Ballad of the Mighty Wolf (5★)
Base ATK: 608 | CRIT Rate: +33.1%
Weapon Effect (R1): Increase ATK SPD by 10%. Gain Four Winds' Hymn every time the equipping character's Normal Attack(s) hit enemies: DMG dealt is increased by 6% for 4s. Max 5 stacks. This effect can be triggered once every 0.1s. Additionally, when the party has the "Hexerei: Secret Rite" effect, each stack of Four Winds' Hymn will increase the CRIT DMG of the equipping character by 6%.

Dornman Port
Beyond the banners, Version 6.4 is expected to introduce a major Mondstadt map expansion known as Dornman Port. This long-referenced harbor has appeared in character voicelines, NPC dialogue, and lore across multiple updates. It is described as Mondstadt’s primary trading hub, connecting the region with Liyue, Sumeru, and other nations across Teyvat.
Dornman Port is believed to be located north of Mondstadt, possibly near or beyond Cider Lake and Stormbearer Mountains. Some lore even suggests it may be close to the border of Snezhnaya, which could explain why the area has remained inaccessible until now. Characters such as Eula and Venti have mentioned the port, and various quests hint that the Abyss Order uses the harbor for transporting dangerous cargo. With Version 6.4, players will finally have the opportunity to explore this long-awaited location.
