Genshin 5.5 Banner Leaks
According to the leaks, two new characters are confirmed to join the Version 5.5 banner: Varesa and Iansan from the Collective of Plenty. Varesa is expected to be a 5-star character, while Iansan will be a 4-star character. 1. Varesa
- Character Background
Varesa is a member of the Collective of Plenty, known for her large appetite. She won the 242nd Inferno Stomach Supremo competition by eating 80 servings of Hot Spring O'Clock. Mavuika has also mentioned her in a voice line: “During the Pilgrimage, I cover all the expenses at the Weary Inn, and without fail, there's always an order for a party tray for eighty. I used to assume it was someone ordering for a large group of friends, but as it turns out... Varesa ordered it all for herself.
- Varesa Kit
Varesa is a limited 5-star Electro Catalyst user who specializes in dealing damage through Plunging Attacks. When she reaches the maximum Nightsoul points, she enters the Fiery Passion state, enhancing her damage output. Upon casting her Elemental Burst, Varesa's Nightsoul points are fully restored, and she immediately enters the Fiery Passion state. During this time, her interruption resistance is increased, allowing her to unleash especially powerful Plunging Attacks that deal massive damage to enemies.

2. Iansan
Iansan is a 4-star Electro Polearm user. She can provide huge ATK boost through her Elemental Burst. After casting the skill, Iansan will whip out her Kinetic Energy Scale. The Kinetic Energy Scale will follow the character around, boosting the ATK of your current active party member in different ways based on Iansan's Nightsoul points. If Iansan has less than 42 Nightsoul points, the ATK bonus will be based on her Nightsoul points and ATK. If Iansan has at least 42 Nightsoul points, the ATK bonus will be based on her ATK. Additionally, the Scale will log the distance your current active character (excluding Iansan) has moved so long as it is active, restoring Nightsoul points to Iansan every second based on the distance moved in the previous second.

Genshin 5.5 New Artifact Sets
There will be two new Artifact sets introduced in Genshin Impact Version 5.5, Long Night's Oath and Finale of the Deep Galleries.
1. Long Night's Oath
2P: Plunging Attack DMG increased by 25%
4P: After Plunging Attacks/Charged Attacks/Elemental Skills hit an opponent, grant the equipping character 1/2/2 buff stack(s). Each stack causes the 2-piece effect to increase by 60% for 6s. The above buffs can each be repeatedly triggered once every 1s. Max 5 stacks. Each buff stack's duration is counted independently.
2. Finale of the Deep Galleries
2P: Cryo DMG Bonus +15%
4P: When you have 0 Energy, Normal Attack DMG is increased by 40% and Elemental Burst DMG is increased by 40%. After dealing one of these kinds of DMG, the effect corresponding to the other kind will stop applying for 6s. This effect can trigger even if the equipping character is off the field.
