Genshin Impact 4.7 Preview Livestream Recap: New Endgame and Natlan Teaser

Hoyoverse has just concluded the Genshin Impact version 4.7 preview livestream, showcasing a plethora of details regarding the imminent update. Of particular interest, the livestream revealed several codes that will grant players Primogems and a variety of other rewards.

With the advent of version 4.7, players can look forward to the addition of Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos as playable characters within the game. As anticipated from their appearances in story quests, Clorinde is a five-star Electro sword user, Sigewinne is a five-star Hydro bow user, and Sethos is a four-star Electro bow user. In addition to these new characters, the update promises a continuation of the narrative featuring Dainsleif, hinting at significant revelations just around the corner. Let us know more about New Endgame and Natlan Teaser!

The return of Dainslef

At the forefront of Genshin Impact's 4.7 update is the return of Dainsleif, leading us through another lore-rich annual quest that advances the Fontaine Archon Quest narrative. As showcased in the 4.7 trailer, the new Archon Quest Interlude will spotlight Dainsleif, along with several beloved Fontaine characters including Navia, Lyney, Furina, and the update's featured stars, Clorinde and Sigewinne.

This installment is anticipated to be the final significant main story expansion before the storyline shifts to Natlan in the upcoming Version 5.0.

News about Clorinde confirmed

Leading the new 5-star characters in Genshin Impact's 4.7 update is Clorinde, the Champion Duelist of Fontaine. Clorinde is an Electro Sword user and a damage dealer whose abilities hinge on the Bond of Life mechanic, similar to the recently introduced Arlecchino. Her Elemental Skill activates a unique state that transforms her normal attacks into rapid pistol shots, accumulating Bond of Life. Conversely, her Elemental Burst unleashes a powerful lunge with her rapier, clearing the Bond to inflict extra damage and heal Clorinde. Additionally, one of her passive talents boosts her critical rate when her Bond of Life exceeds a certain threshold of her maximum HP, simplifying her construction as a formidable unit.

News about Sigewinne and Sethos

Joining Clorinde in the 4.7 update is Sigewinne, the primary nurse of the Fortress of Meropide, who debuts as a 5-star Hydro Bow user. Sigewinne's abilities offer a distinctive blend of HP-dependent damage and healing. Her Elemental Skill conjures a Bolstering Bubblebalm that traverses the battlefield, restoring health to allies with each impact and ensnaring smaller enemies. Like the Hydro Traveler and Neuvillette, Sigewinne's Skill also generates Sourcewater Droplets, which when collected, grant her a Bond of Life: expend this Bond to provide Sigewinne with a set amount of Burst Energy and amplify the team's healing.

Completing the new additions in 4.7 is Sethos, a 4-star character from Sumeru. Sethos offers versatility with two primary playstyles tailored to Charged Shots or Normal Attacks. His Aimed Shots feature two charge levels, culminating in the Shadowpiercing Shot, a potent arrow that pierces through enemies. Though the Shadowpiercing Shot requires a lengthy charge, any available Energy can be harnessed to expedite the process. Alternatively, Sethos's Burst enables an enhanced state, fortifying his Normal Attacks.

4.7 Banner

In the first phase of Genshin Impact's Version 4.7, Clorinde will shine as the central character, accompanied by Alhaitham. Both of these characters will be featured as rate-up 5-star options on the Event Wish Banner. Additionally, Sethos will be the rate-up 4-star character available on both Clorinde's and Alhaitham's Event Wish banners.

Moving on to the second phase of Version 4.7, Sigewinne will become the focal point of the Event Wish. She will be accompanied by the renowned actress and former Hydro Archon, Furina, who is making her first reappearance in the game.

Imaginarium Theatre!

Since its inception, Genshin Impact has offered the Spiral Abyss as the primary endgame challenge for players, complemented by open-world exploration. However, with the arrival of Version 4.7, the game introduces a novel form of endgame content: the Imaginarium Theatre.

The Imaginarium Theatre is a magical arena that presents a unique twist to endgame tips. It features a sequence of challenges with stringent restrictions, permitting only characters of specific Elements to engage in each challenge. For instance, a particular hall might restrict participation to Electro, Anemo, or Pyro characters, significantly narrowing down the available unit options.

To address potential unit shortages, the Imaginarium Theatre thoughtfully provides Trial Characters for all players. This inclusive feature ensures that everyone can dive into the challenges, regardless of the completeness of their character roster.

The Imaginarium Theatre in Genshin Impact offers a gameplay experience reminiscent of roguelike mechanics. As players progress, they delve deeper into the Theatre, strategically selecting from a variety of rewards and paths that present themselves. An innovative twist is the introduction of Vigor loss for playable characters during exploration. This dynamic challenge necessitates on-the-spot adjustments to character selection and team strategies, adding a layer of tactical depth to the gameplay.

Moreover, the Imaginarium Theatre is a lucrative source of rewards. Each cycle, players can reap a generous harvest of Primogems, a valuable in-game currency. Additionally, they stand a chance to earn Billets, which are likely to be a new form of currency or resource introduced in the 4.7 update, further enriching the rewards system of the game.

The Imaginarium Theatre will be introduced as a monthly feature in Genshin Impact, alternating with the Spiral Abyss. In line with this change, the Spiral Abyss will also shift to a monthly update cycle, up from its previous bi-weekly schedule. To compensate for the extended cycle, players can look forward to an increase in Primogems. The reward pool will be boosted from 600 to 800 Primogems per cycle, providing a more lucrative incentive for engaging with the game's endgame content.

Other activities

Genshin Impact's Version 4.7 introduces a variety of engaging events for players. The Mutual Security Enhancing Simulation offers strategic combat, controlling enemy groups in either offensive or defensive missions, with rewards including Primogems and the new 4-star Bow, Cloudforged.

Other events include Endless Forms Most Martial, a combat challenge focusing on specific Reactions, and Spino Doubleblaster, a timed mini-game of hitting Target Balls. Record of Reflective Writing is a traversal-focused Domain event with golden coin collection for rewards.

Additionally, the Resin Cap is increasing to 200, and there will be enhancements to the Artifact Recommendation and Loadout systems.

Everything about Natlan

Previewing Genshin Impact's upcoming Version 5.0, we glimpsed Natlan, a desert region set to debut after 4.8. Natlan offers a unique gameplay feature: player transformation into various creatures for traversal. Shown were a fast mole-like creature for burrowing, a versatile Vishap for aquatic and lava environments, and a bipedal monster for swift traversal—hinting at an expansive landscape to explore.
