Genshin Impact 4.6 Spiral Abyss Match team recommendation and guideline, difficulty increase

The New Spiral Abyss of Genshin Impact 4.6 has finally been updated, and today I will bring you the Spiral Abyss guidance of 4.6 Impact. And in this article, the guidance on floor 12 will be shown in detailed.

The difficulty of the Spiral Abyss in this period is not as high as imagined, and it is still relatively easy to play for players with depth in the Banner. However, if there is a lack of game cards or characters are distracted, then the difficulty of this Spiral Abyss is actually relatively high. In addition, four waves of monsters appeared for the first time in this Spiral Abyss, forcing the battle time to be prolonged. Therefore, evaluating the current character strength and fire-turning ability has become a very important criterion. Characters who lack the ability to turn fire are likely to have a harder time in subsequent versions.

Blessing of the Abyssal Moon

Tip: The Blessing of the Abyssal Moon reduces all enemy resistances by 30% for 4 seconds after the character triggers a fire-related reaction. Very simple and crude gain, as long as the fire element reaction can continue, you can eat full gain, triggering conditions are not difficult. If you feel that it is more difficult to overcome the abyss, you can consider changing into a fire role, which has a miracle effect.

Team Comp Recommendation

Chamber1

The first half

1st Wave: 1x Maguu Kenki: Mask of Terror, 1x Lone Gale & 1x Galloping Frost

The primary threat in this encounter is the triple Maguu Kenki, a long-anticipated challenge. While Anemo crowd control won't affect them, leveraging elemental reactions is key. Prioritize targeting the Cryo Maguu Kenki, as its area-of-effect attacks can hinder your characters within its Cryo-imbued domain. Upon its defeat, the Cryo influence dissipates.
With luck, collateral damage may weaken the remaining enemies, reducing their HP by roughly half. Focus your attention on the Maguu Kenki with the lowest remaining health, whether it's the Lone Gale or the Mask of Terror. Keep in mind that the Mask of Terror can still utilize its mask as a shield if engaged from a distance.

The second half

Tip: At least there are fire and water systems, or grass and thunder systems (universal shield elements).

1. Alhaitham + Xingqiu + Yelan + Kuki Shinobu
2. Raiden + Yelan + Xiangling + Bennett
3. Hu Tao + Yelan + Xingqiu + Zhongli
4. Arlecchino + Yelan + Zhongli + Bennett
5. Tighnari + Yae Miko + Nahida + Zhongl

1st Wave: 1x Kairagi: Fiery Might & 1x Dancing Thunder

2nd Wave: 1x Mirror Maiden (Mist Bubble) & 2x Fatui Skirmisher Pyroslinger Bracer

3rd Wave: 1x Veteran Wind Operative & 1x Frost Operative

In the initial wave, brace yourself for a duo of Kairagi. Typically, they're clustered together unless executing a charged attack propels them forward. Concentrate your assaults to eliminate both simultaneously. To prevent one from regenerating half its HP, either (1) ensure you whittle down both Kairagi's health evenly before dealing the final blow, (2) employ high burst damage DPS to dispatch them together, or (3) utilize a Freeze team to immobilize them, granting a wider window for termination before any healing occurs.

Moving to the second wave, brace for the formidable Mirror Maiden armed with the vexing Mist Bubble Aura. However, prioritize disposing of the two Fatui Skirmishers first due to their evasive tactics and long-range Pyro assaults, which could facilitate the Mirror Maiden's Vaporize attacks. Despite the Maiden's incessant teleportation, clearing the mobs first is advisable.

Interestingly, enemies can be ensnared within the bubbles spawned nearby, provided luck aligns an enemy's proximity with a bubble, allowing you to strike in its direction.

In the third wave, expect the arrival of two Operatives, albeit not the formidable Local Legends variant, thus easing the challenge. Their reduced HP and ATK compared to their Local Legends counterparts make for quicker dispatch. However, beware of their identical skill sets. Opt to engage the Wind Operative to the right over the Frost one, as the latter's Blinkchase skill may pose a greater threat by thrusting toward you. This strategic maneuver allows you to corral both Operatives into a single location. While the Wind Operative possesses a teleportation skill, it's less frequently utilized. Exercise caution against their attacks, particularly evading the Hunt Down skill, which applies a Bond of Life upon contact.

The Bond of Life absorbs any healing effects a character receives, preventing HP recovery until the absorbed amount matches the Bond's value, at which point it dissipates. Subsequent Bonds received by the same character will require additional healing to clear and will stack. Having a cleanser like Jean or Bennett is ideal for swiftly removing these debuffs and restoring your characters' health.

However, the challenge extends beyond hindered healing. Upon enduring a second Hunt Down skill from the same character, the ensuing damage inflicted will escalate. With two Operatives present, vigilant monitoring of both is crucial to prevent the stacking of Bond of Life debuffs.

Chamber 2

The first half

1st Wave: x1 Icewind Suite: Nemesis of Coppelius

This section features a solitary encounter, presenting the 'Icewind Suite' rendition of Coppelius. The adversary in question is Coppelius, the male variant notorious for dealing Anemo DMG. Coppelius falls under the Pneuma classification and is susceptible to paralysis by Ousia-affiliated characters such as Navia and Furina, albeit solely during its Climax phase.

Its offensive repertoire comprises a blend of Anemo and Cryo damage, which can typically be evaded as in standard open-world encounters or absorbed with the aid of a shield. However, the primary concern lies in Coppelius's Climax. At this juncture, both Coppelia and Coppelius relocate to the arena's center to commence the climax sequence: the creation of three Retributive Frosthearts, periodically unleashing blasts imbued with Cryo energy. Despite their presence, these Frosthearts are impervious to destruction, necessitating full concentration on neutralizing Coppelius.

Throughout this Climax phase, Coppelius fortifies itself with a Cryo shield. While this shield can be eroded conventionally via Elemental Reactions (with Pyro being the least effective), it promptly shatters upon impact from an Ousia attack. Striking Coppelius with three Ousia attacks within a single Climax eventuates in an interruption of the Climax, inducing a brief period of incapacitation.

The second half

1st Wave: 3x Fatui Pyro Agents

2nd Wave: 1x Eremite Stone Enchanter & 1x Galehunter

3rd Wave: 2x Abyss Lector: Violet Lightning

In the first wave, you'll face 3 Fatui Pyro Agents who immediately unleash a Prowl skill, spawning spinning Pyro knives. Your best bet is either to (1) use Anemo CC on the middle Agent to gather them and disrupt their attack, or (2) keep your distance until they turn invisible.

The second method is safer due to the Pyro knives' knockback effect, unless your character has a shield. Then, you can engage regardless of Anemo CC availability. Agents may intermittently reveal themselves, visible by their silhouette even in stealth mode, making targeting easier, especially if marked beforehand with Nahida's Skill.

In the second wave, 2 Eremites spawn nearby, entering an enhanced mode and summoning beasts from the start, immune to Anemo CC. Prioritize defeating the Galehunter, whose vortex ability can draw characters in, while the Stone Enchanter tends to pursue relentlessly.

Ensure you have a shielder, as you'll face not just 2 enemies but also their beasts. Although beasts have half the Eremites' health, their attacks are potent, potentially staggering or knocking back characters.

Defeating the respective spirit animal ends the enhanced state, stunning the Eremite for 10 seconds with reduced Geo/Anemo RES. They can only enter this state once.

In the third wave, Lightning Abyss Lectors make their return (absent since 3.7). Positioned at the front, if lacking Anemo CC, hug the wall near one Lector to draw the other closer.

Brute force is key here. Beware of Electro Orbs, draining 20 Energy from all party members on impact. When shielded, Pyro, Cryo, and Dendro are effective.

To swiftly break the shield, utilize Bennett's Elemental Skill within his Elemental Burst, enhanced by 4-pc Thundering Fury for reduced cooldown.

Chamber 3

The first half

1st Wave: 2x Fatui Skirmisher Cryogunner Legionnaire

2nd Wave: 2x Nobushi: Jintouban & 1x Eremite Daythunder

3rd Wave: 2x Assault Specialist Mek (Pneuma)

4th Wave: 2x Recon Log Mek & 1x Construction Specialist Mek (Pneuma)

This section is easier with fewer enemies per wave, manageable HP, and close spawns. Aim to clear it in 1 minute and 20 seconds to save time for the boss later.

Anemo CC helps gather enemies for Swirl, but it's optional since there aren't many enemies in most waves. Waves 1 and 2 feature standard mobs. Waves 3 and 4 introduce Pneuma Mekas. Ousia characters can stun them with Arkhe's attacks (once for normal, twice for specialist).

The second half

1st Wave: Iniquitous Baptist - Invoker of Fire, Frost, and Fulmination

In this single wave, you'll face the Iniquitous Baptist with Pyro, Cryo, and Electro elements. It cycles through shields (Pyro > Cryo > Electro), requiring varied elements to break them for damage opportunities. Without breaking shields, it's tough to damage the boss. Each shield has weaknesses: Hydro for Pyro, Pyro for Cryo, and Dendro/Pyro/Cryo for Electro. When a shield is down, you have around 3 seconds to attack before it raises another. Repeat until all shields are down, then unleash everything during the boss's longer paralysis (around 13 seconds) before the shield rotation restarts.
