How to play and win in Fortnite’s Getaway Mode?
Unlike the traditional matches, Getaway is the journey of extracting jewels from four locations across the map. You can play in duos or in squad mode and locate the places on the map. After acquiring it, your next step is to move to the three Getaway vans landscape from the position.
Unfortunately, the solo and trio modes are unavailable at this moment. Before the onset of the game, you can choose the game mode, i.e., duo or squad. This game is about executing a heist, which requires proper teamwork and strategy. Jewels are crystal llamas, which are the core of this mode. They are dropped from the sky at four different locations and locked inside the safes. You will open the safe, which takes time, and in this condition, enemies are there to attack. After retrieving it, you carry it into the inventory, and this jewel provides you with a passive benefit in regenerating health and shields.
Here in this process, there is a small warning regarding your enemy attack during the heist. Whenever you move with a jewel, it makes you 10 percent slower and easier for your enemy to catch you. Gameplay strategy to win in Fortnite’s Getaway Mode

There will be a total of three Getaway vans, where two vans will remain from the very first of the game, and one will appear at the end of the game. You will carry the jewel in the team member’s inventory. If your team is the last one, you will automatically win the match even without extracting.
The getaway vans will not come until a timer appears on the right side of the screen and it hits zero. Since it is a time-bound game, you need to be very mobile in this gameplay.
If the enemy uses your getaway vans, the match is a loss for you. Players have to activate the getaway van through interaction between the jewel and the van. This will ultimately bring victory.
If the jewels get lost in a storm or are successfully extracted, a new supply drop acts as a replacement.
In the Build mode, the getaway vans are suspended high in the air with balloons. It takes 3 seconds to extract. In the Zero Build mode, it takes 6 seconds to extract.
