Player Cards Coming During FUT Birthday in FC 26
You can already see teasers for cards coming to FUT Birthday on the loading screen for Ultimate Team. But, leaks have already confirmed exactly who’s coming in Team 1, so you don’t have to settle for just the teasers. New Icon Cards and Heroes Coming To FC 26 in FUT Birthday
FUT Birthday will be stacked with top-tier Icons, with the teaser already confirming Zlatan Ibrahimović. But, the most exciting thing of all, especially for any Argentina fans, is the brand new Icon coming to FC 26 during FUT Birthday. It’s none other than the highly awaited Gabriel Batistuta himself, the Serie A and Fiorentina legend who was also Argentina’s all-time top scorer until Lionel Messi himself surpassed him. His card already looks amazing based on the teaser loading screen, which shows 5✰5✰, as well as Finesse+ and Low Driven+.
On top of Batistuta, EA is also adding brand new Heroes to FC 26 at the start of FUT Birthday. All three are Serie A legends, just like Batistuta. Two of them are Juventus legends Andrea Barzagli and Mario Mandzukic. The third new Hero is Argentinian Esteban Cambiasso, Inter Milan’s midfield legend who several titles including a UCL with the club.
Barzagli and Cambiasso will likely be available in packs, while Mandzukic has been leaked as an SBC. So, if you don’t want to spend your fodder on De Jong or just need an attacker, that’s another promising SBC coming during FUT Birthday. There’s no telling how the new Icons and Heroes will play in-game, but here’s hoping they’re meta.
Playstyles+ Personalisation – A Brand-New Concept Coming in FUT Birthday
The most exciting thing by far that’s been leaked about FUT Birthday in FC 26 is a new concept coming which allows players to customize Playstyles+. In case you don’t know, absolutely none of the player cards (excluding Icons and Heroes) in FUT Birthday will have Playstyles+. Not even the most premium cards like Ronaldo, Yamal, Doku, or the others.
Instead, players will be allowed to evo their FUT Birthday players and add absolutely any two Playstyles+ they want. Meaning you can add Low Driven+ and Rapid+ on Ronaldo, Quick Step+ and Finesse+ on Yamal, or any other Playstyle+ combo you can think of. Players can create their own meta combinations which should make even low/mid-range FUT Birthday players feel great in-game because of how defining Playstyles+ can be.
The exact details of how these evolutions will work, if they’re free or need coins, and other specifics aren’t clear yet.
