My strategy was to penetrate the opposition's high defensive line, with the hope that Modric would be the key to dismantling their defenses throughout the weekend with the squad I had assembled. This past weekend seemed to test the limits of human endurance, at least based on my observations and the experiences shared by those I follow.
Each goal scored felt monumental, akin to a golden goal, while every goal conceded struck deep, like a knife to the heart. Amidst this emotional rollercoaster, Luka Modric's impressive tally of 12 goal contributions over 5 matches stood out as a remarkable accomplishment. He consistently emerged as a decisive player in tight situations, proving to be the game-changer I desperately needed during this challenging weekend.

Deploying the little magician, Modric, in the midfield proved to be an excellent decision.
He possesses all the essential attributes to create a significant impact from the center of the pitch.
Throughout just five short matches, he showcased his skills and talents multiple times, consistently posing a threat to the opposition. In this review, I had some reservations about the players' pace, which led me to choose the Hunter chemistry style over other alternatives. Even with the Hunter applied, there were instances where a slight boost in sprint speed would have been beneficial, preventing me from rating him a solid 9/10. However, the 92 acceleration performed admirably, working seamlessly with the explosive acceleration mechanic to provide a satisfying burst during sprints.
On the other hand, the dribbling ability was outstanding and played a crucial role in my squad's performance over the weekend. Finding Modric in open spaces and successfully maneuvering past the first defender was vital for creating opportunities to exploit his exceptional passing skills. Although the player has 4-star skill moves, which stops me from giving a perfect score, his technical attributes, along with an impressive 94 agility and balance, were spot on.
When it comes to passing, this card is nothing short of remarkable. Initially, I considered applying the Catalyst chemistry style to enhance a few passing stats, but after just one match, I quickly realized that no upgrades were necessary. With the combination of three playstyles, every pass felt supported in some capacity, which was evident during gameplay. While the Catalyst might have provided that extra touch, averaging over an assist per match is already quite delightful.

It's astonishing to think this card will probably drop below 500k by week's end. Given the abundance of meta players from Real Madrid in the game, finding connections to incorporate the legendary Croatian into your lineup shouldn't be too difficult.
There are minor concerns regarding his physical attributes and defensive capabilities, but if you're aiming for a seamless link during gameplay transitions, few options can rival this one, particularly considering its cost.
The offensive brilliance is truly impressive...I have to admit, I was taken aback by Modric's finishing this past weekend.
There was a particular finesse shot from inside the box that he sent soaring over the goal, following a smooth dribbling sequence that really frustrated me.However, aside from that moment, his overall performance was quite impressive.With a finishing rating of 90 and shot power at 92, opting for the Hunter chemistry style seemed to pay off.
His reliable 4-star weak foot also came in handy, and his base long shots at 90 definitely contributed positively to the scoreline. While these finishing issues can be viewed as drawbacks, they are minor if you're seeking a pure attacking midfielder who isn’t burdened with defensive tasks.
On the defensive side, though, this card leaves a bit to be desired. In my formation, I don’t require much from my CAM in terms of defense, but I did expect better interception rates when pressing.
Modric struggled to win possession, and his 63 strength didn't aid him in that regard.If you’re considering using Modric in a deeper role, the 83 stamina might be a concern as the match progresses. Nonetheless, stamina didn't pose an issue with my style of play with him in the CAM position.
