When did the Fortnite x Lego Ninjago collaboration start?
Fortnite’s collaboration with Lego Ninjago was teased months back, but the actual collaboration kicked off on December 11, 2025. It initially involved a Ninjago-themed Lego Pass and an item shop bundle tied to the event, which included various Lego Ninjago-themed cosmetics for players to acquire by buying Fortnite V-Bucks first.
The bundle was in the game’s item shop from December 11, 2025, to December 17, 2025, giving players less than a week to actually buy it. The Ninjago Lego Pass campaign is still available and is active till April 1, 2026, giving players time to unlock buildable Lego content and other cosmetics.
The good news is that all of this doesn’t mean that players have missed out on the collaboration. On the contrary, it has already been confirmed that more Lego Ninjago skins are on the horizon, and players can expect them to come to the game in 2026.
How to get every Fortnite x LEGO Ninjago skin?
Fortnite’s Ninjago collaboration provides skins to players through the Lego Pass, item-shop bundles, and future drops. Here’s how every way works for this collaboration and what players can expect if they want every Lego Ninjago skin.
Lego Pass
The Lego Pass is another style of battle pass that players can purchase and level up in Fortnite. Like other battle passes, players get cosmetics and items by progressing through the pass. Buying the Ninjago pass instantly unlocks Fire Master Kai.
Players can purchase the Ninjago Lego Pass for 1400 V-Bucks to get Fire Master Kai. The pass has multiple builds, sets, loading screens, and emotes. These extra items make it an excellent pick-up for those who enjoy the Lego modes and want the construction items, as well as cosmetics.
As for how long it’ll take to get everything, the highlight is that the Fire Master Kai skin is unlocked as soon as you buy the pass. After that, you unlock one new cosmetic or construction item every two levels, and there are a total of thirty items to unlock. This means that you’ll have to level the Lego Pass to level 60 if you want to unlock everything in it.
Item-shop bundle
Players could have spent 2,800 V-Bucks to get the bundle. The bundle contained Ninjago skins and other cosmetics such as backblings and pickaxes. Bundles are the best way to get multiple skins simultaneously, and while the duration of the bundle’s availability wasn’t too long, there’s a strong chance that it’ll return alongside the future releases.
As for what the item shop bundle included:
Lightning Master Jay
Earth Master Cole
Ice Master Zane
These three were available in the item shop bundle and were purchasable from December 11, 2025, to December 17, 2025. The bundle included these skins and some extra cosmetics, such as pickaxes and backblings, for 2,800 V-Bucks.
Wait for future releases
As mentioned before, missing out on the item bundle doesn’t mean that you won’t have any more Lego Ninjago skins to get. Instead, the official Fortnite website confirmed that the Fortnite and Lego Ninjago story is slated to continue in 2026, which means that new skins and bundles will likely be up for grabs then.
As for which skins players can expect:
Lloyd
Nya
Master Wu
These three characters are expected to be available in Fortnite in 2026, according to dataminers and leakers. There’s a good chance that all three will be part of a bundle in the item shop. But because the ongoing Lego Pass featuring Fire Master Kai is up until April 1, it wouldn’t be surprising if at least one new Lego Ninjago character was featured in the next pass.
Regardless of how the skins come to the game, it’s basically confirmed that players will have to spend V-Bucks to get them. If you missed out on the first item bundle and don’t want the same to happen whenever the next bundle comes around, it may be a good idea to buy a Fortnite top up or two in advance to prepare.
Conclusion
This was everything you needed to know about the Fortnite and Lego Ninjago collaboration. It’s great to see Epic Games collaborating with IPs that are exclusive to Lego, since it opens up the doors to players seeing some more of their favorite Lego characters in the game soon. Fortnite is already considered the biggest example of a game built on collaboration, and the more large collaborations players see, the better.
