The Three New Heroes in Season 6 of Dark War Survival
Dark War Survival’s main focus isn’t exactly combat, so all the Heroes feature similar skills in terms of their effects. These three new heroes aren’t an exception to that, and have pretty identical advantages, just for different factions. Here’s some more info about each of them and which factions they belong to.
New Fighter Hero: Ella
The first of the new Heroes is Ella, who belongs to the Fighter faction. Her skills are based around her swords, and she focuses primarily on attack with 445 Attack at level 1, compared to 288 Defence. Her first skill and second skill do damage based on her Attack stat, like all other Heroes in the game.
The main thing with these new S-Rank heroes is how high their stats are in comparison, and especially their third skill. In Ella’s case, her third skill, Palm Tactics, boosts Fighter troops damage by 10%. It’s a huge boost in a PvP season like this one, and puts her in the highest tier of anyone’s list ahead of Season 6.
New Shooter Hero: Sebastian
Sebastian is the new Hero for the Shooter faction, with stats identical to Ella’s. His Attack is at 445 just like hers, and he even has 288 Defence. He even uses blades as his weapon for his skills, just like her. The only main difference is their design, and of course the fact that Sebastian represents the Shooter faction instead.
Moonlit Blessing, which is his third skill, boosts Shooter’s damage by 10%. Most whales use Fighter heroes, so Shooters are a great way to counter them ahead of Origin Lands, which is so focused on PvP. That makes Sebastian one of the best Heroes to grind for currently, regardless of if you’re new to the game or not.
New Rider Hero: Selwyn
Selwyn is the last of the new Heroes in Dark War Survival Season 6, and was released at a slightly later date. Other than the time of release, everything else is the same. Her stats are identical to the other two, with 445 Attack and 288 Defence on level 1. That also means her third skill, Raven Blood Pact, will provide a 10% damage boost to all Rider heroes.
All three of these new Heroes and their third skills also boost all-source damage dealt by troops. But, you have to rank up the third skill to unlock these effects. For 1 star, you get a 2% damage boost to all-source damage by troops. For 2 stars, you get a 6% boost, For 3, you get 9%, for 4, you get 12%, and lastly, for 5 stars, you get 15%. It’s another big boost that makes all three of these new Heroes great.
Are These Season 6 Heroes Worth It?
Dark War Survival isn’t really a game known for its balance and fairness. The developers purposefully add more and more powerful Heroes with each passing season to make older ones feel weaker. That way, players are encouraged to grind for the new ones instead if they want to stay competitive.
It’s a repetitive cycle of FOMO that doesn’t seem like it will come to an end any time soon. Keeping that in mind, if you want to continue playing the game for Season 6 and onwards, there’s no doubt that these new S-Rank Heroes are worth it.
The only way to unlock all three of them at the moment is to pay for them through packs and passes or rubies to get Hero Shards. With how PvP focused Season 6 is, getting these new Heroes maxed out early will give players a good edge, which makes them worth it.
