The “Conquest Season” will start on the 16th of March for most states in the game, and it’ll be called Origin Lands. It’s still several days away so players don’t have too much information about what’s coming yet, but the in-game news does give some idea.

A Completely New Faction and War System
The next season is focused on “Conquest”. It has an Egyptian theme and every player will be forced to pick between two sides that are represented by two different figures from Egyptian mythology. After you’re done picking your side, you’ll work with other members of the same Faction to establish bases, upgrade settlements, securing territory on the map, and doing other things.
The more you do in preparation, the more it will help in the next stage of Origin Lands. During this next step, a border will be established on the map between both Factions. On the 20th day of the season, things will start getting intense as both sides finally engage in war and start competing against each other in fights and other season-exclusive events. The fight will only get tougher and tougher from there on out, until the very last stage of the season when a side wins.
In short, the entire Dark War Survival player base is about to get divided into two Factions, and every player’s contribution will be vital to their specific side winning at the end of this upcoming season. The winning Faction will probably end up getting season-exclusive awards and various other things. For now, the exact specifics of how both sides will fight and how a winner will be decided aren’t available. But, it’s the most unique thing Dark War Survival has done by far and might make next season feel like a whole new game.
New Gameplay Mechanics and Locations on The Map
New Locations Coming in Origin Lands
On top of the Factions concept, we’ll have new things to do as well with new places to visit on the map. For example, there’s something called a Pass Conquest coming to the game which is a gateway to the main point of next season’s map, and will act as a key objective for both Factions to fight over.
Then there are Ancient Ruins that players will be able to go to and explore for season rewards. So far, we know that these rewards include “Affinity” with the “Oracle”, but what that specifically means is something we’ll have to wait and see. You’ll also get other seasonal rewards and resources through the Ancient Ruins.
Portal Gates will also be on the map. These will let players quickly transport troops to help Faction members in the war and jump right into the battle instead of having to wait for Troop Transfer times. We’ll also have an Oasis and other season-exclusive locations all over the map which will keep evolving as the war between Factions goes on.
New Gameplay Mechanics Coming in Origin Lands
Other than the Conquest itself which we’ve already discussed, there are two other new things to focus on while playing Dark War Survival next season. One of these is the Ancient Relic, which is an artifact filled with ancient energy. It used to have divine power but is useless in its current state. Once the season starts, you’ll have to find a way to restore its power and use its true power to help yourself and your Faction.
Secondly, there are 16 Divine Artifacts. Each of these were owned by a different ancient Egyptian deity and have power in them. You’ll have to gather every single one to restore power to the Origin. This will likely have story-based events focused on it, and seems to be the main point of the whole Origin Lands season other than the Conquest. How we’ll gather these Divine Artifcats or revive the Ancient Relic’s power hasn’t been revealed yet. But, knowing this game, it won’t be easy.
