How Do You “Win” A Capital Clash?
Once an Alliance takes control of the Capital, they don’t just win straight away. With every passing moment, their “occupation” over the Capital increases by 0.01%. Once it reaches 100%, the Clash ends and they’re granted victory. But, that’s much easier said than done, since another Alliance can attack and overthrow their occupation at any given time.
Once another Alliance has control, your percentage doesn’t go all the way back to 0 though. Instead, it stays paused where you got overthrown, and if you regain control of the Capital then it will continue from where you left off. Winning with a full 100% is usually a long shot though. In any thriving State, Alliances will constantly bombard the Capital and won’t let you hold it for too long.
That’s why there’s a timer for these Clashes as well. Once the timer expires, the Alliance that has the highest percentage of control will win that specific Clash and be the main Alliance of your State until next time. Unless you’re in a dead State without many great Alliances in it, you’ll probably have to settle for winning through the timer rather than winning with a 100% score. But winning is a long way away. Tips For Winning Capital Clash Events in Dark War Survival
Tips for Attacking
Every team starts off attacking, so let’s focus on helping you improve your attack first. Start off by coordinating with your Alliance members and taking over the Turrets surrounding the Capital. These are super important for maintaining a strong defence, or for executing a successful attack. Start with them and assign the strongest players with the best troops, vehicles, heroes, and equipment to lead the charge. That way, all their resources will be used and everyone else’s troops will just be there for support, increasing your chances at getting good rewards or even winning.
You need to pick out 5 of the best players in your Alliance. One for the Capital, and four for each of the turrets. You’ll want five players with the strongest formation in your entire Alliance for this, since they’ll be responsible for leading the Capital or whichever Turret they capture successfully.
After you take control of the Turrets, storming the Capital and occupying it becomes much easier. Turrets do constant high-damage to the Capital if they’re owned by different Alliances. Get your hands on at least two of them, and you have a serious chance of getting the Capital eventually. Once you do that, the next part is defence.
Tips for Defending
You want to hold out for as long as possible to drive your percentage higher and get a winning chance once you have the Capital. To do that, you need to make sure never to lose the Turrets. Reinforce each Turret with the strongest troops and formations your Alliance has. Don’t let any weak Alliance members reinforce them, because that’ll bring the overall level of defence down.
Instead, focus on keeping the strongest troops for defending turrets you already have while weaker numbers can be used to put a dent in enemy Turrets. If you lose a Turret, don’t immediately focus on getting it back. Focus your troops on the turrets you still have so you don’t lose control of the Capital too. After the attackers start losing some numbers, you can try taking back control of any turrets you lost.
Just organize the defence as best as possible by utilizing strong players’ formations while using weaker players as nothing more than a way to buff numbers. And if you think your Alliance doesn’t have any players strong enough to win the Capital Clash in your State, consider merging with another Alliance to immediately become much stronger.
