Don’t Put Everything Towards The Watchtower in The Start
The Watchtower is the most important building in your settlement, which you probably know if you’re past the tutorial. But, just because it’s important, that doesn’t mean you have to focus on it solely. The Watchtower takes time and lots of resource to level up, and the upgrades from it aren’t that important initially.
Instead, focus on your Research Centre, Hospital, Warehouse, Town Hall, and every other important building you can think of. These all serve a purpose for your troops and survivability, which is the most important thing at the start. Get these to a higher level before spending resources on the Watchtower. Baby steps make progression a lot easier in this game.
Get Construction Upgrades as Fast as Possible
Try to naturally progress a little through levels and objectives in the game to unlock more Heroes if you only just started playing. As you play, you’ll unlock certain Heroes and buffs through Survivor’s Call that speed up construction times for you. At the start, you want to focus your resource on Heroes that, when upgraded, let you reduce the time it takes to build things for your settlement. It’s a huge help at the start and makes the grind a lot less boring.
Don’t Use Your Speed-Ups and Rubies Early On
As bad as all the waiting times for building upgrades and construction seem at first, it gets a whole lot worse. The more you level up these buildings, the longer the construction times get with each level. Initially, it’s only several minutes or a few hours. Let Your Alliance Carry You At The Start
