When it comes to taming animals in Crimson Desert to make them your mounts, you always have to be careful not to lose them. Crimson Desert allows you to tame mystical beasts like White Bear and Silver Fang, and exotic creatures like Dragon and Tiger. There are numerous animals to tame in Crimson Desert, and one of the rarest ones is the Tiger. It is because the Tigers only spawn at one specific location, requiring you to hunt and tame one of them carefully. Not only that, but the location itself is close to a camp, requiring you to liberate it first for a better chance at taming a tiger.

Where to Find the Tigers in Crimson Desert
Tigers spawn right next to the Giant’s Yard Watchtower, located east of the world map, southwest of the Red River. This is south of the Crimson Desert region and north of the Delesyia region. There is one Abyss Nexus close to the Beardtree Gorge, and if you go directly north of it, passing the mineral spot, you will reach the watchtower. The watchtower is a big distraction and a problem, especially if you aggro both the enemies and the tigers in the area. You don’t want to end up killing all the tigers alongside the enemies, so you have to be careful.
Right now, there is no other certain spot where the tigers spawn in Pywel. This little area mentioned above is the only location where you can run into a White Tiger and a bunch of wild tigers. You want to focus on taming one of the wild tigers as your mount. If you are looking to purchase Crimson Desert, LootBar can offer you a great deal on it.
Purchase Some Raw Meat for Taming the Tiger
Now, before I explain how you want to clear out the area and tame the tiger, you need some meat to offer to the tiger that you want to tame. The Butchery is a great shop for buying all kinds of raw meat. It is located in Hernand City, and is hard to miss. Go to the Butchery and purchase 3 to 5 pieces of Lean Meat. Alternatively, you can purchase Fine Meat, Bird Meat, etc., as any type of meat will get the job done.
Clear Out the Enemies and Tigers, Except One
After acquiring the meat, head to the tiger’s location. You can go straight to the tigers, but there is a high chance that the enemies will spot you, which can ruin your stealth. I recommend clearing out all of the enemies first to liberate the Giant’s Yard Watchtower. After that, head to the big rock ahead to find the Legendary White Tiger sitting with some regular tigers.
Kill the White Tiger first and skin it immediately, as it will give you the Tigerfang Ring. From here, you can start focusing on the other tigers, but do not use AOE attacks. You want to keep one alive. You can either kill the tigers and leave one at the end, or separate one of them from the rest. Once only one tiger is remaining, it’s time to tame it.
How to Tame the Tiger in Crimson Desert
The Tiger itself does not have a lot of health. It can easily be killed with a few hard strikes of your weapon. What you want to do is stun it until the “Ride” option pops up. The best way to do it is to Force Palm the tiger, instead of attacking it with your weapon. Lock on to the tiger and keep using the Force Palm until it stuns. Go near it and press the X (XBOX) or Square (PlayStation) to ride it.
Now, while riding the tiger, you need to raise its trust to 100 to tame it successfully. This is where the feeding technique comes into play. Open the inventory and select the “Feed” option by selecting the Lean Meat to feed it to the Tiger. Feeding 1 Lean Meat will raise Trust by 40. Feed the tiger a total of 3 Lean Meats to raise its trust to 100.
Once done, you will get the option to “Take in”. This is for accepting the Tiger as your mount and adding it to the list of your special mounts. Press Y (XBOX) or Triangle (PlayStation) to take in the Tiger. This will permanently add the Tiger to your Special Mounts tab in the Inventory. You can summon the Tiger from the mounts tab whenever you want.
All Stats of Tiger Mount in Crimson Desert
Unlocking the Tiger mount is not much of a hassle, but what does it offer as a whole when it joins you on your adventure? Here are all the stats of the tiger mount in Crimson Desert.
Stat | Points |
Health | 450 |
Stamina | 200 |
Attack | 100 |
Defense | 45 |
If you compare the tiger’s stats to those of other mystical beasts, you might find it underwhelming. However, the main reason why Tiger mount is useful is because of its ability to fight alongside you. It is more than a mount, as it can be a companion to you.
Conclusion
Tiger is one of the rarest mounts in Crimson Desert, and what makes it more unique is that it is a combat-efficient one. You can use Tiger as your companion to help you through the fights. Moreover, you can also ride and fight at the same time. However, it is more effective when you are fighting alongside it to clear out enemies easily. Although it might not be the fastest mount in the game, it is certainly a good one to have, especially if you want to clear out enemy groups. If you are wondering about purchasing a Crimson Desert Steam Key, LootBar offers a great deal on it.
