Upon arriving at the Icy Ruins in the Five Finger Mountain area, you will spot a thin icy layer on top of a platform. To get started with the puzzle, you first need to break the ice. The easiest way to do it is to use a Force Palm on it. After breaking the ice, go to the side where there are staircases, and you will see an ice path on the wall. Hit the ice patch, or stab it. As the ice breaks, the water will start flowing out of the puzzle area. It will reveal 6 blocks in a 9-block square. You need to rearrange the 6 blocks.

Rearrange the 6 Blocks

The brown parts are the edges, and the white parts are the middle. This will help you rearrange the blocks easily. The top left corner and top right corner pieces are correct. You need to rearrange the rest of the four pieces. To move the blocks, you need to use the Stab move on the blocks and push/pull them to a place. It will be a slow maneuver, so be patient.

  • Move the middle-left block down.
  • Push the middle block to the left.
  • Move the top right block up to its proper place.
  • Move the top middle block to the middle-right.
  • Now, move the bottom left block to the top middle.
  • Lastly, move the bottom right block to the middle.

This will complete the puzzle and trigger the Abyss Cresset to appear ahead. Go and interact with the Abyss Cresset to get your Abyss Artifact as a reward.
