The Ether Rest Abyss Puzzle takes place in the skies above the Pailune region. It is a snowy mountain region with freezing temperatures. It is best to have an Armor Set that gives high Ice Resistance. I highly recommend equipping the Frostcursed Plate Set, as all pieces together provide Level 15 Ice Resistance, making you immune to cold. This way, you do not have to rely on Beer or other drinks to gain ice resistance temporarily.

You can reach the Ether Rest Abyss Puzzle location by walking through the Abyss Gate located in the basement of the Spire of Ringing Truth. It is a giant tower on the western side of the Pailune region.
How to Reach Ether Rest Abyss Puzzle
The Abyss Gate is at the bottom of the Spire of Ringing Truth. However, before you can go down, you have to make it to the top. Go up the main staircase and climb up the ledges to make it to the top. Once up there, shoot at the top of the bell to drop it down. This will open the way to the basement. Jump down and use the Flight skill to safely reach the basement. Here, you will have to defeat Priscus the Ancient (boss). After dealing with the boss, you can enter the Abyss Gate to reach the Ether Rest Abyss Puzzle.
Ether Rest Abyss Puzzle Walkthrough in Crimson Desert
As you arrive at the Ether Abyss Puzzle, you will see a wind turbine ahead of you. Stand in the middle of the wind turbine and use the Flight skill to fly up.
- Travel to the central floating structure using the wind turbines.
- Wait on each wind turbine to get to the max height and then head to the next wind turbine.
Once you are inside the central floating structure, you will see a rotatable grate. Here, you need to use the Axiom Force on a panel to rotate the grate. The panel will be between two power lines.
- Rotate the panel until you see an opening in the grate.
Enter the opening to find another wind turbine. Use the flight skill to go further up the structure. As you enter the level above, you need to use Nature’s Grasp skill on a wall with a hole in it. Lift up the wall and wait for the hole to align with the yellow mechanism behind it.
- Grab the yellow mechanism using the Axiom Force skill to rotate the wall of the room.
- Rotate the wall until you see an opening.
Now, slide through the opening and use the wind turbines in the area to go further up the structure. While you are going up, circle around the structure to spot a device.
- Axiom Force on the device and take it with you while flying to the room above.
Once you are in the room, put the device on the unpowered block. Now, head up the room using Force Palm or by climbing the wires. As you reach the top, you will see a wind turbine on the wall.
- Go to the opening in front of the wind turbine, and use the flight skill to fly to the giant circular mechanism.
Grab the circular mechanism, and go to its center. Now, use the Force Palm on it to power the whole Abyss Island. Make sure that you hold L2, so that you don’t push off when you Force Palm it.
Once done, climb up to the top and go to the end to claim the Abyss Artifact. This will complete the Ether Rest Abyss Puzzle.
Ether Rest Skybridge to Frostbitten Paradise
The Ether Rest Abyss island connects with the Frostbitten Paradise Abyss island. To get there, you can go through the Skybridge on Ether Rest island and hop on blocks to reach a platform in front of the fan device. Here, you need to use the Nature’s Snare skill to rotate the fan. It will take you to the island ahead, from where you can teleport to Frostbitten Paradise.
