Jinhsi Overview
Jinhsi is a returning 5-star rarity Spectro Resonator in Version 2.0 of Wuthering Waves. She utilizes Broadblade weapons and serves as a main DPS unit in combat. Her debut release was during the first phase of Wuthering Waves’ Version 1.1, following Yinlin and before Changi’s convene banner. Now, the Magistrate of Jinzhou is available to get during the second phase of Version 2.0 as a rerun convene together with Roccia’s debut. With the addition of new Resonators in Version 2.0 and beyond, Jinhsi has more Sub DPS and Support characters she can be grouped with, especially Resonators who can deal Coordinated Attacks.
As of Version 2.0, Jinhsi has now more Sub DPS options available for her, namely Zhezhi, Yinlin, and Yuanwu. As for Support options, she still has her dedicated support, Verina, and can be paired with Baizhi.
Jinhsi Gameplay and Playstyle
Jinhsi is a versatile damage dealer who excels in both single-target and multi-target attacks. As a Main DPS, she deals primarily with Spectro damage to her targets. When it comes to her playstyle, she deals quick strikes while dashing and being airborne, resulting in a high damage output. Her notable skills and skill mechanics include her Resonance Skill, Resonance Liberation, and Incarnation state. She is still one of the top Resonators in Version 2.0 who can deal high bursts and sustained damage in battle. Lastly, she can also synergize with Resonators who utilize Coordinated Attacks, namely Zhezhi, Yinlin, Yuanwu, Verina, and Baizhi, helping her gain more Incandescence stacks.

Leveling Jinhsi’s Forte Circuit is your main priority since it boosts her damage multipliers. Enhancing this skill will result in higher Spectro damage from her Basic Attacks. In addition, it will trigger her Incarnation state frequently, especially when paired with teammates that utilize Coordinated Attacks, such as Zhezhi, Yinlin, and Verina.
Resonance Liberation: Purge of Light
Focus next on Jinhsi’s Resonance Liberation since it also accounts for her total damage output. Next to her Forte Circuit, this skill contributes a large portion of her overall DPS in battle.
Resonance Skill: Trailing Lights of Eons
You also need to raise Jinhsi’s Resonance Skill to boost her burst damage further. Upgrading this skill will make her dash quickly and deal Spectro damage to her targets.
Intro Skill: Loong’s Halo
Although a low-priority skill, Jinhsi’s Intro Skill is still needed for leveling since it provides additional damage and utility for her Incarnation state.
Normal Attack: Slash of Breaking Dawn

The Jinhsi and Zhezhi pairing is one of the most powerful damage-dealing pairings in Wuthering Waves. This is due to their Coordinated Attacks that synergize well with each other. As Jinhsi's optimal partner, Zhezhi assists in accumulating Incandescence stacks for her. Zhezhi also offers Resonance Skill DMG increase through her Carve and Draw Outro Skill.
With the newest Empyrean Anthem Echo Set for Zhezhi, she can buff Jinhsi’s Attack% further when landing a critical hit Coordinated Attack. In exchange for the buffs, Jinhsi gives away extra Resonance Energy to Zhezhi.
Most Jinhsi-lead teams prefer Verina as their dedicated support unit. Apart from being a healer and buffer, she can also deal Coordinated Attacks and help generate more Forte Gauge and Incandescence stacks. Yinlin is equipped with the Empyrean Anthem full Echo set, she can give another source of attack damage boost to Jinhsi when she successfully lands a Coordinated Attack critical hit and switches to her during combat.

For Baizhi, she can also provide Coordinated Attacks through her Resonance Liberation apart from her healing. Compared to Verina, Baizhi generates Concerto energy at a slow rate and has a low ATK buff.
P.S. The rotation of this team is Jinhsi → Yuanwu → Healer → Jinhsi, which is different from other hypercarry teams. If the healer is equipped with the standard Rejuvenating Glow echo set, Jinhsi will only benefit from the buffs of one support echo set. To maximize Jinhsi's damage output, it’s better to equip Yuanwu with Rejuvenating Glow and the healer with Moonlit Clouds.
However, it’s important to note that Yuanwu isn’t a traditional healer in WuWa. By equipping him with the Originite: Type IV weapon, Yuanwu can heal himself through Basic Attacks, triggering the Rejuvenating Glow echo set’s buff and boosting overall team performance.
