What Is the Starr Nova Event?

The Starr Nova Event is a seasonal event that features special transformations, progression mechanics, and cooperative boss battles that are new and exciting. You will have an opportunity to get special Crystals during the matches. And you can use those to temporarily change your Brawler into the powerful Starr Patrol version.

The event also introduces Nova Drops, a special progression system used to level up transformations and unlock rewards. By upgrading Starr Patrol members, you can deal damage to Void Master Finx and eventually unlock his Mythic skin for free.

The event also includes special boss fights, challenge modes, and exclusive cosmetics available only during the season.

Starr Nova Event Schedule

The Starr Nova Event runs alongside the current season and lasts for nearly a month. Below is a detailed schedule of the events taking place during the season:

One important thing to remember is that Starr Nova herself is not available immediately when the event starts. Her transformation Crystal only appears during the second week of the event.

How the Starr Nova Event Works

The core mechanic of the Starr Nova Event revolves around special Crystals that appear during matches. When the Starr Nova modifier is active, you can collect these Crystals to temporarily transform your Brawler into a powerful member of the Starr Patrol.

This modifier appears in featured game modes, selected Trophy Road matches, Boss Fights, and the Starr Nova Challenge. There are also two versions of the modifier during the event. Collecting Crystals

These transformed versions have stronger abilities, better stats, and improved combat performance. They are especially useful in Boss Fights because bosses deal reduced damage to transformed you.

Among all transformations, Starr Nova is generally considered the strongest option once she becomes available. Before Starr Nova arrives, your best transformation usually depends on which Starr Patrol member you have upgraded the most through Nova Drops.

Another useful strategy is saving nearby Crystals when your health is low. Transforming gives you a fresh power boost and helps you survive longer during difficult fights.

Leveling Up

All Starr Patrol transformations start at Power Level 11 and can be upgraded all the way to Power Level 30. These upgrades make your transformed Brawlers significantly stronger during matches and Boss Fights.

Unlike the other transformations, Starr Nova does not require leveling. Once she becomes available in week two, she immediately starts at max power.

What Are Nova Drops?

Nova Drops are special reward boxes tied to the Starr Nova Event. They are mainly used to level up Starr Patrol transformations and unlock seasonal rewards.

Besides Power Level upgrades, Nova Drops can also contain resources, cosmetics, skins, and even Brawlers. Every time you receive a Power Level upgrade from a Nova Drop, you also earn a damage charge for the Void Master Finx event.

How to Obtain More Nova Drops

You can earn Nova Drops from several activities during the event, such as Mega Quests, Boss Fights, and special event challenges.

Boss Fights

The Starr Nova Event introduces special 5v1 Boss Fights where five you team up against powerful enemies.

Evil Colette: In this mode, your team must destroy dark book nests while dealing with swarms of mini Void Colettes.

Evil Boss Finx: This is a multi-phase boss fight where Finx summons Kit clones and uses a central tower that alternates between helping and damaging your team. After clearing the highest difficulty, your best completion time will be recorded as a Speedrun Score.

Starr Nova Challenge

The Starr Nova Challenge runs from May 12 to May 18, 2026. you must earn 9 wins across three stages: Knockout, Brawl Ball, and Gem Grab.

You only have four total lives, making this one of the more competitive challenges of the season.

Rewards

Free Void Master Finx Skin

One of the biggest rewards in the event is the free Mythic Void Master Finx skin.

Each player has an individual Finx health bar with roughly 3,652 HP. Every time you gain a Power Level upgrade through Nova Drops, you receive a damage charge that can be used to attack Finx on the event screen.

Once his health bar is fully depleted, you unlock the skin for free.

Starr Nova Challenge Rewards

The challenge also includes several milestone rewards:
