BLEACH Soul Resonance Yachiru Build Guide – Best Strength Build & Strategy

Yachiru Kusajishi - the childlike girl with pink hair may seem like a playful character, but what most players don’t know is that she can be one of the deadliest characters you could have in the game. Yachiru excels at providing melee burst damage in close range while having excellent survivability. She is also F2P-friendly, and for the players who don’t want to spend money, she is a boon.

Her rarity is SR, and with her family's support, she works best in a Slash Team. Of course, there are other characters as well, like Kisuke Urahara, which can be used in place of Yachiru, but those are mainly SSR-ranked ones, and recruiting them requires Spiritual gems, which means your only left option would be the BLEACH Soul Resonance top up from a reputed and trusted platform, LootBar.

In this guide, we will be breaking down her full character along with her best builds and strategies, so let's dive in.

Yachiru Kusajishi - An Overview

Just like in the anime, Yachiru is shown as a carefree young girl with a pink girl, and her character in-game has the same fun-to-play aura along with smooth animations.

Her stats at level 50 are as follows:

  • Power - 10602
  • ATK - 1296
  • Def - 1243
  • HP - 8112

She is one of the most powerful supports in the game, being only second to Kisuke Urahara. Luckily for the F2P players, Yachiru is rewarded to you on the second day of logging into the game.

Skills

Dodge

This skill allows Yachiru to flash step and avoid attacks. There is also a bonus on a perfect dodge titled - True Time Freeze, which grants Yachiru 15% ASPD and 25% Movement speed, which is unique to her character.

Attack Counter

Yachiru can throw her Zanpakuto in her counterattack that deals damage equal to 197% of her ATK. She can also enter Spectate state for 18 seconds if she switches within 3 seconds of using this skill.

Basic Attack

Titled as “Leave the Tough one to Me”, Yachiru’s basic attack allows her to wield the Zanpakuto and strike the enemy up to 3 times, dealing 42% damage, and again if she is switched within 3 seconds of using this skill, she will enter the spectate mode.

Passive Attack

Yachiru’s passive attack, named Sideline Cheer, has several enhancements, and they are as follows:

  • Spectate: When Yachiru’s spectate is active, all the characters on the field will get a 20% ATK boost, and Yachiru will also gain Ultimate energy when her teammates perform a basic or special attack.
  • Inspiration: When Yachiru’s Ultimate energy reaches 50% or 100%, she will be able to grant inspiration to all teammates, increasing their Slash DMG by 10% for 6 seconds.
  • Exhilaration: If other characters already have Inspiration when Yachiru releases the Ultimate, it will reset its duration and increase the Slash DMG by 7.5% for 15 seconds.
  • Absolute Focus: This one is more about the team composition. If the characters to whom Yachiru is granting Inspirations are of the Slash type, then their duration will increase by 3 seconds.

Techinque

Also titled as “Time to Spectate”, this technique allows her to launch enemies in the air, dealing a massive amount of damage equal to 166% of her ATK, and once again if she’s switched. She will enter spectate mode.

Ultimate

With her ultimate, Yachiru finally unleashes all of her spiritual power, dealing damage equal to 258% of her ATK to all the nearby enemies. She also grants inspiration to all teammates, increasing their Slash DMG by 10% for 6 seconds during her ultimate, and if she’s switched out within the next... Well, yeah, just guess it.

How to Upgrade her Skills and Boundaries?

Upgrading a character’s skills needs to be properly thought out, as the wrong order can lead to a waste of your resources. Following is the order of her suggested skill upgrades:

Passive -> Ultimate -> Technique -> Basic Attack -> Counter -> Dodge

For the boundaries part, of course, her best ascension is going to be the 6th and last one, which offers an ATK increase by an extra 12% but that would require some serious grinding to get all those duplicates. And if you don’t want to grind, you could simply buy BLEACH Soul Resonance Spirit Coins and try recruiting her. But if you are just looking for some good stuff, then her Ascension Level 2 is great, as it grants an extra 8% Slash DMG bonus.

Weapon

The best weapon you could get for Yachiru is the “Enough Talk!” weapon Stamp, which also provides exclusive effects for Yachiru. At only Ascension Stage 2, the weapon can grant teammates with inspiration, along with an extra 15% Crit DMG bonus while she is spectating. The stats boost of this weapon is 25%. All the above buffs she provides make her a viable option for every Slash Team.

Best Team Compositions

The Ultimate Killer Trio

  • Main DPS – Ichigo (bankai)
  • Secondary Damahe Dealer – Byakuya Kuchiki
  • Support – Yachiru Kusajishi

Note: Ichigo is already the strongest in the game, and paired with tactical characters like Byakuya Kuchiki and supporters like Yachiru, your team is going to become your enemies' worst nightmare.

The F2P-friendly Team

  • Main DPS – Ichigo (shikai)
  • Secondary Damahe Dealer – Rukia Kuchiki
  • Support – Yachiru Kusajishi

Note: If you don’t have both Ichigo (bankai) and Byakuya, who are both SSR-ranked characters, then this team is a viable option.

Conclusion

Yachiru is an excellent support that can stay strong throughout the game if she is upgraded well. In the later stages, though, she can be replaced with characters like Kisuke Urahara. In combat, you should start with Yachiru and, after triggering her Spectator buff, swap out and return to your Main DPS. This allows you to use your main DPS to deal damage while Yachiru provides buffs in the background.
