Bleach offers a huge cast of characters for you to choose from, but choosing can be difficult as every character is classified based on Main DPS, Supporter, and Secondary DPS, and offers different advantages.

So, we have gone through the trouble and created for you a tier list of the strongest to the weakest characters in the game on the general basis of their abilities, utility for PvE and PvP, and their ranks.

These characters can be obtained by wishing on standard or limited banners, which require Spiritual Jade, and both new and seasoned players have trouble collecting enough of this premium currency to get their favorite characters. Tier List of Bleach Characters

Presented below is the tier list of the best Bleach characters, ranked from best to worst:

S-Tier Characters

The characters under this category are the Meta Slashers. With excellent abilities, these characters are built for dominating any battle they enter and bringing raw power even into the most basic teams.

Ichigo Kurosaki (Bankai)

Just like in the anime, Ichigo’s bankai form is also goated in the game. With the rarity of SSR, Ichigo is a full-assault type character, and with his ultimate, he becomes an unparalleled force. Ichigo is also the first and the most limited-edition character in the game, and that truly shows in how he performs in the battles. His Hollowfication is frighteningly overpowered as it not only allows him to deal massive amounts of damage, but also unlocks automatic counter-attacks.

Kisuke Urahara

Urahara is an SSR-ranked Support who emerges as the most needed character of the standard banner. All thanks to this support function, the buffs he provides have no match. The Reishi analysis he uses can stack excellently and provide amazing buffs like a 10% attack increase that can stack up to 2 or 3 times. His critical damage bonus can also amount to 50% whenever he enters his ultimate form. When paired with Bankai? The team becomes unstoppable.

Kaname Tosen

As the third remaining member of one of the best build teams consisting of Bankai, Urahara, and him, Kaname is an SSR-ranked character, excelling in thrust fighting style. He is also the best tactic unit in the game. Even in the anime series, Kaname was exceptionally badass and highly versatile with increased mobility, and when paired with thrust damage units, he can do more damage with his Ghost Strike. If you think that he is not already so cool, let me tell you. His applied wound can stack up to 30 times, and his ultimate resets his cooldown.

A-Tier Characters

These are the characters that aren’t the meta changers, but they are an absolute must-have because even if they aren’t overpowered, they have enough potential to excel in any team they join under the right conditions. These characters can also be hard to obtain, as you need a lot of pulls to finally get them. Pulls require the premium currency of the game, so you can either grind or simply buy BLEACH Soul Resonance Spirit Coins.

Yoruichi Shihoin

She is the woman with lightning-fast attack combos. Like many other strike fighters, Yoruichi is mainly about dealing one massive punch to a single enemy, which makes her optimal when fighting with Elite Bosses. Her ult can deal up to 500% damage on the very first hit, which is quite good. She is an SSR Rank and can serve well as your team’s DPS.

Ikkaku Madarame

A popular choice for various teams, Ikkaku Madarame is the closest option to Ichigo (bankai) yet. He is an SSR grade character and is categorized as a Full Assault Type. Madarame does well as a DPS character, with his ultimate ability being able to deal damage equal to 276% to the nearby enemies. After entering the bankai state, it stays for 14 seconds, and all of his attack moves are enhanced, and his HP does not drop below 1. So basically, invincible for 14 seconds.

B-tier Characters

These are the average characters. If you have them, that’s good. Beyond that, they have minimal output if not paired with the right team.

Renji Abarai

As an SR grade character, he is an average character who is classified into the Full Assault Type. His basic ATK is 290, and it can increase by 912% when he enters his Ultimate form - Higazekko. His ultimate ability also allows him to split Zabimaru into rapid flying blades.

Ishida Uryu

Uryu is an SR-grade character, whose ultimate ability – Licht Regen allows him to unleash a bunch of Reishi convergence on the area ahead. This ability deals AoE Damage equal to 504% of attack, and Uryu is classified as a Tactic type.

C-tier Characters

This tier includes the characters that are only good in the initial stages of the game. Later on, they get obsolete and pretty much useless.

Kenpachi Zaraki

This character falls into the rarity of TBC, and even though he has an aggressive playstyle, he is only considered viable for the early stages of the game. His normal attacks have high magic, but he suffers from a lack of utility and attack speed.

Ichigo (Initial)

Ichigo, in the initial gameplay stages, is not particularly spectacular, unlike the Ichigo Bankai one, and he is severely underpowered. His current meta carries a lot of disadvantages, and his Bankai version is just so so much better and is only recommended for early game progress.

Conclusion

Now that you know the Bleach tier list, you can easily choose which characters to pull and wish for. All you need to do is select the characters that complement each other's abilities, and you will be able to choose the best characters for your team and dominate the game easily, clearing missions and enemies.
