Welcome to Blade & Soul NEO! The remastered version of the martial arts game Blade & Soul Classic. If this is your first time playing, then you’re in for a treat! Fast fights, cool moves, powerful lore, and a vast, beautiful world to explore. This guide is for you to start strong, covering the basics from picking your character to fighting enemies, and all the items you’ll need to grow throughout your journey. To make everything easier, you can even buy Blade & Soul NEO Divine Gems from LootBar. It is an amazing way to speed up your journey.

Choose Your Class

The first step to even begin the game, is to choose your class - a major decision. It’s similar to choosing your combat style. Blade & Soul NEO have provided a lot of different options, with their own strengths.

The Blademaster is a great pick if you love swords and quick, agile attacks. It’s not very hard to learn it, and it deals great damage! Another great option is The Summoner. You get a cat which battles alongside you, pretty cute, and pretty good too. If you are serious about damage, The Kung Fu Master is your go to for powerful combos and iron fists.

The Blademaster and The Summoner are very easy to play with, especially for beginners, thanks to their simple and beginner-friendly play style being an average of most needs when starting out, strong attacks, agility, and cool moves.

Exploring the World

Exploring the universe of Blade & Soul NEO is more or less, really fun. Alongside your basic methods of movement of running and jumping, you can also glide through the air using a method called Windwalk.

To begin, you should follow the yellow quests on your screen; they’re for the main storyline and reward you with tons of experience points to level you up fast. Blue quests are extra, side quests that reward you with Valor Stones. You should save these for later to buy skill books. Purple quests teach you how to fight better, so don’t skip them, they’re great for training. The map may feel too big sometimes, but use the teleport option to zip quickly to where you need to go.

Combat Made Easy

Fighting is an important, and one of the most exciting aspects. Requiring your frenzy to be perfectly timed with perfect movement. No clicking and waiting; every button needs to be pressed strategically during every attack. For example, the Blademaster can sidestep with one key, and then slash with another, to easily avoid attacks. Other combos are up to your creation!

Before attacking, your enemies will glow red, so stay alert for glowing outlines and then act quickly! There is also a bar at the bottom with your skills. Some of them are powerful, but need more time to recharge, so use them wisely.

Employing Tools to Strengthen

Like armour, you need the best gear to move on, i.e., Soul Shields, rings, and swords.

Yellow quests give you basic items at first, but the more you play, the more you'll want. If you like crafting, you can make shiny weapons or look for them by doing dungeons such as Tomb of the Exiles. Soul Shields are sold in sets of eight; obtaining all eight will grant you a bonus, such as increased power or health. Hongmoon Store's Divine Gems are actually very handy since they allow you to level up your equipment or buy great items. Though it does take a while to build up, you earn it by doing quests and killing your bosses. It will also assist you in killing more if your gun is powerful, so that's your top priority.

Winning Divine Gems

Blade & Soul NEO Divine Gems are the game's premium coins, and they're a big deal. You use them to buy outfits, upgrade items, or get even rarer gear from the Marketplace. To earn them for free, do daily quests (marked in red) every day- they’re quick and give gems plus other goodies. Events like "Dragon's Bounty," are where you can win gems by completing challenges or playing minigames. Dungeons drop them sometimes too, but only if you beat hard bosses.

Quickly Levelling Up

Your main objective is to reach the maximum level (60), which is not hard if you follow a plan. Finish yellow quests first as they are the quickest way to gain experience. Do the daily quests and the dungeons whenever you can; they reward you with additional points and rewards. To give you a little extra, utilize food buffs, which exist in the game and are a snack that speed up your progress. Don't waste time on little side projects unless you're stuck. If you have problems, join a group so that other players can support you during your learning process.

Advice for Novices

Follow these simple steps to ensure a smooth start:

  • Keep Your Gems Safe: Save Divine Gems for equipment upgrades rather than wasting them on useless things like funny headgear.
  • Get a Clan Membership: Like teams, clans offer support, protection and back-up. They also allow you to socialise and get inspiration from others’ ventures.
  • Get better movement: Movement is crucial, and you must be able to dodge attacks effectively to create better odds of winning your fights. It’s irreplaceable and cannot be compensated.
  • Check Events: During events, the game will reward you with free things, so keep an eye out for the news page.

Conclusion

Starting Blade & Soul NEO is like stepping into a martial arts movie where you are the protagonist. Pick a class you like, focus on the story, and fight smart to gain strength. Divine gems and good gear will aid, but your skills are what matter most. Are you ready to begin? Take the blows and dive right in to create your legend.
