The new banner has been available after the Version 4.7 update. So have you got all your favorite characters and weapons? Whatever the result is, let's take a look at the two five-star weapons in the new gacha and see which characters can use them!

Absolution

Absolution has a base ATK of 674, which is the highest among all swords along with Mistsplitter Reforged. Besides, it also provides a 44.1% CRIT DMG and an extra 20% CRIT DMG only at Rank 1. What’s more, the DMG the equipping character deals can also be increased by 48% at most when the value of the Bond of Life goes up.

1. Clorinde

As a new sword that comes with Clorinde, Absolution offers generous value of Base ATK, DMG bonus and CRIT DMG, which is exactly what Clorinde needs most to inflict damage. For Clorinde, Absolution is definitely the most suitable weapon.

2. Keqing, Ayaka and Ayato

High base ATK and CRIT DMG of Absolution seem to fit all sword-type characters based on ATK to deal damage. Nevertheless, the big restriction existed in the way the weapon's effect triggers may disappoint you immediately. Absolution is the kind of weapon that can only play a role when have no better choice. Although we recommend you equip Keqing, Ayaka and Ayato with this weapon, please note that for these characters, Absolution is a “just-so-so” option.

Of course, if in the future there is a character that can grant the Bond of Life for other characters in the party, then Absoulution will be a very suitable weapon for almost every ATK-based characters. But as for now, the only character who suits it is, without a doubt, Clorinde.

In summary, Absolution is not that useful for any character other than Clorinde, which can only be used as a replacement when you are lack of other suitable weapons.

Light of Foliar Incision

Light of Foliar Incision has a relatively low base ATK of 542 and a high CRIT DMG of 88.2%. Also after Normal Attacks deal Elemental DMG, the weapon will increase DMG dealt by Normal Attacks and Elemental Skills by 120% of Elemental Mastery, which reveals that this weapon is strongly linked with Elemental Mastery.

1. Alhaitham

For Alhaitham, Light of Foliar Incision is the most suitable weapon, with all the special effects easily obtained and the appearance matched. The only thing deserving your concern when you equip Alhaitham with this weapon is to keep the CRIT Rate within a reasonable range.

2. Keqing

If Keqing mainly deals Aggravate reaction DMG in your party build, the output Light of Foliar Incision can provide is similar to what Primordial Jade Cutter can do. And on this occasion, Light of Foliar Incision will have obvious advantages over four-star weapons. While it may can not exceed Mistsplitter Reforged, it is a suitable and useful weapon for Keqing. The only disadvantage is that the utilization rate of DMG bonus is a little low as Keqing deals DMG with a relatively low frequency of Normal Attacks and Elemental Skills in this party.

3. C6 Kaedehara Kazuha

If your Kazuha plays mainly a Support role in your build, Elematal Mastery and Energy Recharge will be of greatest importance and Light of Foliar Incision is certainly not even in the list. But it is another story for C6 Main DPS Kazuha. With a high Elemental Mastery, Kazuha can get the DMG bonus of this weapon easily. And at the same time, Light of Foliar Incision can further Kazuha’s DMG bonus of Normal Attacks and Elemental Skills. C6 Kazuha is surely a perfect match to Light of Foliar Incision. However, for players who have the ability to pull a C6 Kazuha, many will tend to choose Mistsplitter Reforged as it is the most suitable sword for Main DPS Kazuha.

Above all, Light of Foliar Incision is not a weapon worthy of a pull for every player, but if you accidently get one from the gacha, it will not be a bad deal.
