The 4 Best SBC Players Released During TOTY in FC 26
92-Rated Flashback Sophia Wilson
Funny enough, the best SBC player EA gave us during TOTY isn’t even a TOTY player or icon. Instead, it’s Flashback Sophia Wilson, who’s one of the best strikers in the game right now. Her SBC costs 1m in fodder but that’s well worth it because she’s perfect at just about everything. Her pace, dribbling, passing, and especially her shooting are all top notch.
Her playstyles are all amazing too, since she has Finesse+, First Touch+, base Low Driven, Finesse, Incisive, Tiki Taka, Technical, and Quick Step. She also has Trickster and a 5* Weak Foot. For her small size, her 85 physicality really helps too and helps her feel almost as jammy as Pina does when it comes to bullying much taller defenders and squeezing past them. If you’ve got the players to spare, complete Wilson as soon as you can and you won’t regret it.
92-Rated TOTY Icon Marcelo
Marcelo is easily the best LB in the entire game, and this is THE Icon SBC to grind in FC 26, just like Bale in FC 25 or Best in FC 24. His card is 90+ Pace, Passing, Dribbling, and Defending, along with 83 physicality. The stats are perfect for a Wingback and so are the playstyles. He’s got Anticipate+ and Tiki Taka+. While the second isn’t that amazing for a fullback, he still has base Jockey, Intercept, Whipped, and more on him as well.
Fodder inflation has brought the SBC price all the way to 2m coins (compared to 1.3m coins back when the SBC first came out). But, if you have enough to spare for him, Marcelo is well worth the price because he’s the best Wingback in the game in almost every sense. You’ll be using him until TOTS if you decide to do this SBC, which makes him well worth it.
90-Rated TOTY HM Sakina Karchaoui
After getting a TOTY card last year which was great, this year Karchaoui gets a TOTY Honourable Mention SBC. And for the price, it’s one of the best SBCs all year. Even with fodder prise hikes, all the squads will cost you less than 200k to complete. That’s a low price for a card that’s amazing at both LB and CM. Her small build, high pace, great all round stats and playstyles make her a perfect CM. Especially with her smooth left stick dribbling and Technical+ which makes her so fun on the ball.
But, even as a LB, she’s very solid defensively as well as going forward. She has base Intercept, Jockey, Tiki Taka, Quick Step, Inventive, and even Low Driven. Whether you use her as a Wingback or a Box-to-Box CM, she’ll do great for you both in attack and in defence. And despite being in the Women’s leagues, she’s easy enough to link because of her French nationality.
90-Rated TOTY HM Jeremie Frimpong
Another great wingback SBC in TOTY for the price is Frimpong, who also got a TOTY HM card. He has 97 Pace, which is amazing, and 86 Defending to go with it. Plus he’s got Intercept+ which is so good this year, base Jockey, Anticipate, Rapid, and Quick Step. All of his playstyles and stats are so good for a Wingback. Even his Shooting is at 84, with 85 Passing and 90 Dribbling as well.
Put an Anchor on him and you’ll get a very well balanced Wingback card with great defending stats and maxed out pace. The Anchor chemistry style will give Frimpong a much-needed physicality boost too, since that’s his weakest trait. For the price of 350k, Frimpong is a top-tier RB that’ll lock down even the fastest wingers in the right hands. That 97 pace with Quick Step is so good at catching defenders, and he has great playstyles to deal with them after catching up too.
