Solgaleo ex deck
Metal-type decks in Pokémon TCG Pocket are known for their durability. They’re usually slow at the start, but build up enough threats on the bench to deal damage. While one Solgaleo ex is in the active spot, set up the second one and the Skarmory. Use the benched Solgaleo’s ability to swap it into the active spot when your active Pokémon is in trouble, and use Skarmory to finish off your enemy.
Dialga ex deck
Dialga ex is the main part of another powerful Metal-type deck. The deck is adaptable, allowing it to set up other Pokémon while also working as a late-game cleaner. Its first move, Metallic Turbo, deals 30 damage for two metal energy and lets players take two metal energy from the energy zone and attach them to one of their benched Pokémon. This strategy sets up other attackers, ensuring players don’t have to use up too many turns setting up their other Pokémon.
Dialga ex’s second move, Heavy Impact, deals 150 damage for two metal and two colorless energy, making it great for finishing blows.

The deck has a simple concept where players place Druddigon in the frontline to stall while they build up Meltan into Melmetal on their bench. Druddigon’s Rough Skin ability is excellent for ensuring most of the enemy’s base Pokémon have to tread carefully when dealing damage to your active Pokémon, lest they end up getting knocked out first.
Ideally, use Leaf to help your Druddigon retreat so you can bring out Melmetal, who can start attacking immediately. While Melmetal uses its excellent sturdiness to stay alive and deal damage, ensure that both of your Greninja can properly get set up on the bench. You don’t have to allocate any energy to them, since the goal is to use their ability to deal chip damage to the enemy every turn.
