The 4 Best Options For The Wizard Evolution
Hueng Min Son
Son is one of the most loved footballers in recent history, and he was always a favorite in FIFA/FC games too, up until this year. After his surprise transfer away from Tottenham to LAFC, Son dropped off hard as a meta option because of very difficult links. Now, while this evolution doesn’t fix that problem, it does make it a lot more worth it to try and squeeze Son into your squad.
With 91 pace, 87 shooting, 83 passing, and 88 dribbling all with his signature Finesse+, this card is something that would be worth hundreds of thousands of FC coins in the past. But, this evo lets you get him for much cheaper. If you have any icons and the Hugo Lloris flashback SBC from earlier in the game, you should be able to get him on full chem and enjoy this beast to the fullest.
Joelinton
An option that no one expects when thinking of “ideal evolution for LWs is Joelinton, who just so happens to have it as a secondary position this year. And it just so happens that he fits the evolution. Put him in The Controller evolution to give him 86 defending, and then put him in The Wizard.
At the end of this chain, you’ll get a CM with 90 pace, 83 shooting, 83 passing, 88 dribbling, 86 defending, and 90 physicality. Those are absolutely amazing stats. And while he doesn’t play as good as those stats sound because his animations aren’t the best, he’s still an amazing Premier League CM and easily one of the best options for this evolution
Wilfried Zaha
Zaha got a decent free card during the Joga Bonito event that you could get by completing objectives. The Wizard takes that card to the next level by improving all his stats and giving him Quick Step+ on top of that to make him feel faster than ever. His base playstyles already included Finesse, Technical, and Gamechanger, making this a very nice card for LW or even striker with his 82 physicality and decent height.
Marcus Rashford
Rashford was one of the best wingers at the start of FC 26, and his cards are usually OP in every FIFA/FC game because of his body type and animations. This evolution chain brings him back to his old glory with 91 pace, 88 shooting, 84 passing and 88 dribbling. All you need to do is give his cold card the Shots Fired evolution for greatly improved shooting, and then put him in the Athlete Lab evolution. After that, just use The Wizard on him and enjoy a Rashford car that would be worth a lot on the market.
The only single reason why this card isn’t higher up on this list is his physicality and lack of great base playstyles compared to the other options, which are really important in this meta.
