1.Core Leveling Mechanics
Operators gain experience only through EXP Battle Records. These are the in-game tickets that grant your characters EXP points to upgrade them to the next level. There are 4 types of Battle Records that you will find in the game:
Drill Battle Records: Gives 200 EXP
Frontline Battle Records: Gives 400 EXP
Tactical Battle Records: Gives 1000 EXP
Strategic Battle Records: Gives 2000 EXP
This process also requires a good amount of LMD (Lungmen Dollars), which increases with the operator’s level and promotion status. These LMDs are the in-game currency that is much needed for leveling, promotions, and other upgrades.
-Ways to farm EXP and LMD efficiently
These are the best ways to farm your resources:
- Tactical Drills (for EXP): These supply missions are available throughout the week, and going for the LS-4 would be the most profitable, which has a reward of Strategic Battle Records at a reasonable difficulty level. For beginners, LS-3 is recommended, which still gives you an adequate amount of EXP records.
- Cargo Escort (for LMD): Although every map will give you some base amount of LMD, when it comes to efficiency, CE-5 is the best as it yields nearly 6000 LMDs. But you need to plan your farming schedule as these Cargo Escorts are only available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

2.Promotions

3.Skill Upgrades and Mastery
Skills should be your utmost priority while upgrading an Operator as they grant them a huge stats boost with increased damage, reduced cooldowns, or healing boosts. These scales range from Level 1 to 7, and there are 3 Specializations for skills - M1, M2, and M3. These are advanced upgrades that will enhance a lot more stats than your general way of leveling up.
So, you need to be mindful of the specialisation as they consume a lot of resources and upgrade depending on your playstyle and meta. You should also look out for “Breakpoint” M1 upgrades as they cost less than usual.
