Tangtang Overview
Tangtang is a Cryo Caster who consistently applies Cryo Infliction while providing utility and damage for Cryo teams. Her kit revolves around generating whirlpools through her Combo mechanic and consuming them with her Battle Skill to create waterspouts that deal continuous area damage while applying Cryo stacks and Arts Susceptibility. She performs best in Cryo teams that can frequently trigger her Combo, allowing her to maintain Cryo application, amplify team damage, and contribute steady AoE damage and crowd control through her Ultimate.
Tangtang Skill Priority
| Skill | Priority | Reason | ||
I'LL BLOW YOUR MIND! (Basic Attack) | ★ | Tangtang’s Basic Attacks contribute little to her overall damage or support role. They can remain at base level.
IMA WAVERIDAAH! (Battle Skill) | ★★★★ | Tangtang’s most important skill. It converts whirlpools into waterspouts, applying Cryo Infliction and Arts Susceptibility while dealing continuous AoE damage.
RIVER, TO ME! (Combo Skill) | ★★ | Primarily used to generate whirlpools that are later consumed by her Battle Skill. Its damage is secondary to its setup utility.
DA CHIEF SEES YOU! (Ultimate) | ★★★ | Provides crowd control and burst damage while enabling additional Battle Skill effects when canceled early. Upgrading it improves overall damage and utility.
Tangtang Best Weapons and Essence Priority
Tangtang scales primarily with Agility and Strength, as both increase her overall damage and improve her Battle Skill output. Weapons that increase Cryo damage, Battle Skill damage, or Arts damage amplification pair best with her kit since much of her value comes from generating whirlpools and converting them into waterspouts. Her best-in-slot option is Brigand’s Calling, which provides strong Cryo damage and increases Arts damage taken on enemies, amplifying both her damage and the team’s output. Home Longing is a strong alternative that provides Cryo damage and Agility with a passive that aligns well with her gameplay. Lower rarity options, such as Opus: The Living or Howling Guard can also work if those weapons are unavailable.

Tangtang Best Teams
Tangtang works best in Cryo teams that can consistently apply Cryo Infliction to trigger her Combo and generate whirlpools. She pairs especially well with main DPS operators like Yvonne and Last Rite, who benefit from her Cryo Infliction and Cryo Susceptibility. Tangtang prefers coordinated rotations where teammates frequently apply Cryo stacks to trigger her Combo, allowing her to maintain whirlpools on the field and convert them into waterspouts with her Battle Skill for steady damage and team support.
