  • Lifeng Overview

Lifeng is a Physical Support DPS Operator who specializes in applying Physical Susceptibility, generating Vulnerability stacks, and amplifying burst through his Link buff. His kit revolves around applying Knockdown to stack Vulnerability, triggering Combo Skills off Physical statuses, and granting Link to empower the next Battle Skill or Ultimate used by his team. He performs best in structured Physical compositions that can reliably trigger Crush or Breach, allowing allies to capitalize on amplified damage windows while benefiting from his strong sub-DPS and stagger contribution.

Lifeng Skill Priority

Ruination

(Basic Attack)

Lowest priority in his kit.

Turbid Avatar

(Battle Skill)

★★★★Lifeng’s most important skill. It applies Physical Susceptibility and Knock Down, enabling Vulnerability stacking and setting up his Combo Skill triggers. Since it is used frequently in rotations, this should be leveled first.

Aspect of Wrath

(Combo Skill)

★★★Grants the Link buff to the entire team, amplifying the next Battle Skill or Ultimate used. Essential for maximizing burst windows, making it the second priority.

Heart of the Unmoving

(Ultimate)

★★Features the highest damage multiplier in his kit and applies additional Knock Down stacks. Can be leveled alongside Combo Skill if Lifeng is serving as a main DPS in your team.

Lifeng Best Weapons and Essence Priority

Lifeng is a Physical DPS who scales primarily with Agility, with Strength as a secondary stat to increase his overall damage and Link burst value. Weapons that increase Physical Damage or ATK% pair best with his kit. His signature weapon, Mountain Bearer, is his best-in-slot option, providing high Agility, Physical DMG Bonus, and additional damage when applying Vulnerability or Physical Susceptibility. Alternatives such as Valiant or Pathfinder’s Beacon are solid options if his BiS isn't available.

Lifeng Best Gear Set

For Lifeng, in the early game he can use gear that provides Agility, Strength, and Physical Damage bonuses to improve his damage and Link value. In the late game, Swordmancer is a strong option that increases his stagger output and can improve team damage if it enables additional stagger phases, though it requires consistent Physical Status application. Eternal Xiranite is a supportive alternative that allows his Battle Skill opener to grant a teamwide buff, trading some personal damage for higher overall team damage.

Lifeng Best Teams

Lifeng works best in Physical teams that can consistently apply and consume Vulnerability stacks through Crush or Breach. He pairs especially well with DPS such as Endmin, Da Pan, and Pogranichnik, who can capitalize on his Physical Susceptibility and Link buff to maximize burst damage. Lifeng prefers coordinated rotations where he applies the first Vulnerability stack with his Battle Skill, then times his Combo Skill before a high-multiplier Ultimate to fully utilize the Link buff, allowing allies to convert stacked Vulnerability into amplified burst windows.

Lifeng Best Potentials

P1 - Breaking the Obsession
  • Rating - ★★★★ (Very Good)
  • Potential Effect - Battle skill Turbid Avatar improved: Physical Susceptibility +5%; also triggers this additional effect to enemies with no more than 2 Vulnerability stacks.
  • Reason - This is a major flexibility upgrade. Lifeng no longer needs to open the rotation, allowing teammates to apply the first Vulnerability stack. It also improves Susceptibility uptime and increases Subduer of Evil activations, making it his most impactful early dupe.
P2 - Self Refinement
  • Rating - ★★ (Low)
  • Potential Effect - All attributes +15.
  • Reason - Small personal damage increase.
P3 - Spiritual Cultivation
  • Rating - ★★ (Low)
  • Potential Effect - Talent Illumination improved: Every point in the attributes of Intellect and Will grants Lifeng an additional ATK +0.05%.
  • Reason - A modest damage boost that improves stat efficiency but does not significantly change his rotations or team value.
P4 - Brief Instant
  • Rating - ★★★ (Good)
  • Potential Effect - Ultimate Heart of the Unmoving improved: Ultimate Energy cost -15%.
  • Reason - Improves Ultimate uptime, allowing more Vulnerability stacks and Link burst opportunities. Helpful, though Lifeng is not primarily Ultimate-focused.
P5 - Unremitting
  • Rating - ★★★★ (Very Good)
  • Potential Effect - Talent Subduer of Evil improved: Every 15s, the next effect triggered deals another 250% ATK of Physical DMG and 5 Stagger.
  • Reason - A noticeable personal damage increase that requires no change in gameplay. Works best alongside P1, where Lifeng can apply Susceptibility more consistently after teammates initiate.
