4 Best Cards We've Used From Answer The Call Team 1 in FC 26

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is getting closer and closer, and FC 26 is joining the hype with Answer The Call. The cards in this promo are already great, and will get even better with a 3rd Playstyle+, +1 OVR increase, and all Roles++. But to earn those upgrades, the player tied to the card has to get called up to the World Cup.

Those upgrades are still a long way away though, so let’s focus on these cards as they are now. Out of all we’ve used from Answer The Call, we ranked our top four picks below. If you want enough FC 26 coins to buy any of them, get them from LootBar. For now, here’s our ranking for this promo.

From Answer The Call Team 1 in FC 26 – The Top Cards

93-OVR Jude Bellingham

Bellingham is the headline player for Answer The Call, and he’s the best card we used from Team 1 by far. Bellingham’s unique animations and jank make him one of the best CAMs in the game at the start of each FC, and this card is worth 3m on the market currently because of those same reasons. He has 88 Pace, 90 Shooting, 88 Passing, 93 Dribbling, 85 Defending, and 90 Physicality. With that kind of stat spread and CM as an alternative position, he’s great as a box-to-box especially.

His Technical+ and Finesse+ make him best suited to CAM. But with silver Incisive, Tiki Taka, Intercept, Quick Step, Pinged Pass, Inventive, Low Driven, First Touch, an Gamechanger, he’ll be great even at CM and not just CAM. Whether you need a playmaker higher up or a box-to-box all over, we tested Bellingham in both roles and he was exactly as good as his stats and Playstyles make him sound, if not better. Plus he’ll almost certainly get the upgrade when he’s called up for England in the World Cup

92-OVR Nicholas Williams

Nico Williams has one of the rarest Playstyles+ combinations in FC history, being one of the only cards ever to be released with both Quick Step+ and Rapid+. Combine that with his 97 Pace and you have one of the fastest wingers in the entire game. He has 87 Shooting, 88 Passing, 92 Dribbling, and 80 Physicality too. That way you know he’s not just a pace merchant.

His silver Playstyles are all perfect for the wing too, with Finesse, Low Driven, Gamechanger, Inventive, Pinged Pass, and Technical. The only thing that holds this card back is the lack of either Tiki Taka or Incisive. But, beyond that, he’s absolutely perfect and worth 1.1m coins for a reason. One of the quickest players we’ve used this year and a demon on the flank with his speed and 5 SM. He’s also a regular for Spain, so he’ll likely get called up and get his upgrades.

93-OVR Julian Alvarez

Yet another La Liga star headlining this promo, Alvarez was amazing on the ST position for us. His 91 Pace isn’t the best for this stage of the game, silver Rapid and everything else about his card make up for it. With Power Shot+ and Low Driven+, he’s lethal from inside and outside the box, especially with the recent buffs to Power Shots. He’s got 91 Pace, 93 Shooting, 90 Passing, 93 Dribbling, and 87 Physicality.

He’s the perfect ST or even Shadow Striker at CAM with those stats and his base Playstyles. Finesse, Incisive, Tiki Taka, Technical Rapid, First Touch, Press Proven, and even Trickster with 5 are all perfect for a short striker like him. For 1.3m coins, he feels really similar to what Sophia Wilson felt like with her Flashback SBC a couple of months ago. Well worth the investment if you need a good all-rounder ST, especially since Alvarez usually gets called up by Argentina.

92-OVR N’Golo Kanté

Kante is one of those players that just doesn’t play bad in-game. Doesn’t matter if it’s his gold card or a fully juiced-out FUTTIES card, he’ll always do the dirty work and win the ball back every single year. This Answer The Call card is no different. With 87 Pace, 74 Shooting, 85 Passing, 91 Dribbling, 93 Defending, and 87 Physicality, the card may sound a little underwhelming compared to others at this stage.

But, Kanté always plays way better than his stats suggest in-game. With Intercept+ and Pinged Pass+, which are the best possible Playstyles+ for a DM, he’s great at winning the ball back and getting it forward. Plus he has base Incisive, Tiki Taka, Jockey, Anticipate, Technical, and Bruiser, which are all tailored for a CDM too. The only reason this Kanté is as cheap as 500k is because of his Turkish league links. Beyond that, he’s an amazing DM. Go to LootBar to get him or any other FC 26 players from Answer The Call.

Conclusion

From our experience, the players above are our top four if we had to choose a select few from Answer The Call. As always, the best cards are worth millions. Buy FC 26 coins if you don’t have enough to spare and want to add any of them to your team, or if you need enough coins to keep up with all the paid evos coming out lately.
