Star-Lord: Starcracker skin

Star-Lord Starcracker skin in Marvel Rivals

It wouldn’t be far-fetched to say that Star-Lord’s Starcracker skin is easily the highlight of this season’s additions. Setting aside the fact that this skin is legendary, the Starcracker skin completely revamps how Peter looks. He looks exactly like a typical nutcracker, complete with a red nose, white facial hair, and comically large Christmas boots. His iconic pistols also get a festive overhaul, with Christmas lights and leaves decorating them.

One look at the skin is already enough for many players to instantly want to buy Marvel Rivals Lattices, but things don’t end here. The skin has a walking emote with Christmas-themed music playing. Instead of the iconic “Legendary,” Star-Lord screams “Happy Holidays,” which adds even more charm to the skin. Then, there are his animated cutscenes, which range from him falling into wrapped Christmas boxes to the hero protecting a theme park from devious rats. It’s a fun skin that brings the Holiday spirit, and it’s clear that the designers had an absolute blast creating it.

Peni Parker: Snow-SP//dr skin

Peni Parker Snow-SPdr skin in Marvel Rivals

Peni Parker’s Snow-SP//dr skin is another excellent addition to her already stacked lineup of cosmetics. The Spider-Man variant is given a Little Red Riding Hood-inspired outfit, complete with a hood, a short cape, and a white dress with some embroidery at the bottom. Her red boots with white top edges seal the deal and cement the Holiday feeling. Of course, we can’t forget about her trusty SP//dr, who also gets a snowy look, complete with frozen canons and sharp claws on its feet that are seemingly referencing Bigfoot.

This skin’s MVP animations are also awesome. One has the girl and robot duo standing tall with their backs facing each other, before Peni does a casual salute. This perfectly reflects Peni’s bubbly personality and shows off her warm mittens. Another one showcases the duo having a one-sided snowball fight, which is as visually impressive as it is cute.

Squirrel Girl: Tinsel Tail skin

Squirrel Girl Tinsel Tail skin in Marvel Rivals

Squirrel Girl’s Tinsel Tail skin may not be the most impressive of the bunch, but it more than makes up for that with its personality. Giving the superhero based on squirrels a skin that dresses her as a reindeer is perfect and completely in character with Squirrel Girl’s personality. The skin gives her a head ornament that imitates a Reindeer’s horns, and she’s neatly dressed in a brown, red, and green dress. Her shoes reflect the same color scheme, and her large tail is colored red and white to celebrate the Christmas cheer.

The skin’s MVP animations are extremely charming. The first one has the character sitting in a sleigh that her squirrels are pushing. One squirrel spots an acorn and bolts towards it, causing the hero to fall. There’s also one where she’s sliding on a staircase, before she loses control and falls into a stack of gifts. One of the hero’s squirrels cutely pops their head out, before Squirrel Girl blasts out while shouting “Surprise.”

Cloak & Dagger: Ice Dancer skin

Cloak & Dagger Ice Dancer skin in Marvel Rivals

Up next is Cloak & Dagger’s Ice Dancer skin. The duo hero has already received one skin based on dancing, and the Ice Dancer skin seems to be no different. As the name suggests, this skin is inspired by ice skating, with Dagger wearing a traditional figure-hugging blue ice skater outfit. Her hair is bundled into a neat bun, and her blue shoes have blades at the bottom, letting her give off the gracefulness expected of an ice skater.

Cloak is also given an ice skating-inspired skin, but it’s fairly different. Of course, the usually white cloak is recolored to give a more blueish hue, letting the character hide his lower body in it. His upper body is primarily exposed, aside from his arms, which have puffy sleeves going from his shoulders to his hands. All in all, this duo skin oozes gracefulness and togetherness, something that Cloak & Dagger have always been about.

Winter Soldier: Winter Buckaroo skin

Winter Soldier Winter Buckaroo skin in Marvel Rivals

Winter Soldier isn’t really a holiday type of guy, but this skin changes that. Wearing a hat with horns on the top and the same large boots that Star Lord is wearing, the Winter Buckaroo skin for Winter Soldier is simple but nice. Of course, the belt that has a snowflake at the center does a lot to make players like the skin even more. Not to mention, the comically large scarf with a bell hanging from its center and the Christmas jacket that’s a couple of sizes too small give it more personality.

While this is one of the only ways to see Winter Soldier close to shirtless in Marvel Rivals, this skin isn’t really all that impressive. It has personality and charm, but compared to the other 2025 Christmas skins that bring more to the table, the Winter Buckaroo skin for Winter Soldier is just a little plain, hence its ranking.

Daredevil: Not Daredevil skin

Daredevil Not Daredevil skin in Marvel Rivals

The final skin on this list is Daredevil’s fittingly named Not Daredevil skin. The overall concept is nice, as it’s Matt trying to hide his identity as Daredevil by wearing sunglasses, casual jeans, a headband with horns, and a sweater that literally says he isn’t Daredevil. But the problem is that this skin is just a little random and unfitting, while not doing as much as expected from the incredibly popular Daredevil.

While Matt has his goofy moments, he’s primarily seen as a serious guy. Because of this, the character sliding on the floor and using his batons as a candy cane that he can lean on as he chugs on some warm beverages seems out of character for the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. It’s a nice skin, but there are definitely better skins this Christmas season, especially if you’re one of the many who want to buy a Marvel Rivals top up or two to get these festive skins.

Conclusion

This concludes our ranking of every Christmas-themed skin in Marvel Rivals this year. NetEase is seemingly going all-in this year, with some awesome skins for beloved characters. While it wouldn’t be surprising if most think these skins are a hit or miss, there’s a good chance that there’s at least one festive skin for everyone to love.
