All Infinity Nikki 2.5 banner outfits
Like with previous versions, Infinity Nikki 2.5 brings two awesome limited-time resonance banners for players to participate in. Of course, these banners are completely paid, though LootBar can help ensure you don’t miss out on anything.
The two banners in this version are:
Eternal Cycle, Buried Past
Evertide of No Return
Both banners are slated to stay until May 28. Reaching 160 resonance attempts on either banner will give you additional rewards, including the Ocean’s Radiance Gift Box for Eternal Cycle, Buried Past, and the Cycle of Souls decoration for Evertide of No Return.
The Rosy Finale and Unfading Moonlight resonance banners appeared later in the update. These banners let you acquire the four-star Petalfall Finale and Luminous Nightflow outfits for a limited time.
Evergreen Vow (4-Star)
This cool attribute outfit is the four-star outfit that’s part of the Eternal Cycle, Buried Past banner. This outfit is great, giving Nikki what seems to be armored gloves and a metal crown to go along with it. The entire outfit has metallic themes, including her shoulderpads and boots. Her hairstyle is also very elegant, giving Nikki a royal feel.
As for this outfit’s ability, it’s called Bannered Glory: Whimsicality. The ability is purely cosmetic, but it’s great nonetheless. Using it prompts Nikki to call a horse and raise a flag in the air while sitting on that horse. The horse shortly disappears, causing Nikki to spin the flag one final time before striking a pose. It’s a virtual photographer’s dream.
Heartward Hues (4-Star)
The Evertide of No Return banner gets the Heartward Hues outfit. This four-star outfit is the complete opposite of the majestic Evergreen Vow. It’s an adorable look for Nikki, giving her a large frilled bonnet-style headpiece. The lace theme is consistent throughout the outfit, whether it’s the ribbon surrounding her neck or the laces that flow off her translucent sleeves.
This outfit also has a cosmetic ability, though it’s understandably much more playful. Called Spiritfire Play: Whimsicality, this ability has Nikki kindle the flower in her hand into spiritfire. Flames dance around Nikki’s fingertips, making for a surprisingly enjoyable scene.
Floral Rebirth (5-Star)
Floral Rebirth is the 5-star outfit for the Eternal Cycle, Buried Past banner. The outfit’s style is great, giving her a widow-like appearance. The headpiece and long dress complement each other well, but the outfit’s highlight is how it stands above her head from the back. It’s over the top in all the right ways, and suits players who love to stand out.
This outfit’s ability lets Nikki perform a majestic animation before collecting all of the bugs in her vicinity. While catching bugs is nice, it’s the animation she does that really catches everyone’s eyes. A large flower blooms under her before glowing and fading away in a short but memorable showcase.
Guide of No Return (5-Star)
The Evertide of No Return banner’s 5-star outfit is Guide of No Return. This is easily the outfit that players are more excited for, and for good reasons. It gives off the vibes of a dark celestial sorceress, with major gothic influences. The shades of black, silver, and icy blue are clear, and the armor-like details throughout the outfit stand out.
Not to mention, the Guide of No Return outfit has two large wings that Nikki can use to fly around. The wings complement her ability called Guiding Star: Archery. As the name suggests, you can rapidly press the attack button to fire multiple arrows at Esselings. The flight mode is also part of this ability, and is used through the Call of Souls ability.
All free Infinity Nikki 2.5 outfits
Infinity Nikki 2.5 has a surprising number of free outfits that you can get. While you don’t have to pay anything for these, they still require you to meet some prerequisites.
Chromatic Comet (3-Star)
Chromatic Comet may be a three-star outfit, but it has the vibes of an outfit that’s purchasable through Stellarite. Nikki becomes an idol when wearing this, complete with the shorts and flashy colors. The best part is that you can get this outfit for free by clearing Curio Domain-related random quests.
Unfettered Meadow (3-Star)
The Unfettered Meadow outfit is more in line with what you would expect from a free three-star outfit. While the hat and nature-like look give a feeling of calmness, it’s ultimately a fairly plain and unmemorable outfit. Fortunately, you can get it for free by completing Styling Faction challenges while exploring the Boneyard.
Verdant Chord (4-Star)
Verdant Chord is extremely homey, giving Nikki a welcoming look complete with long sleeves that almost completely cover her hands, and a headpiece with ends that dangle to her shoulders. This outfit is acquirable when you complete Tales of Itzaland II tasks and collect enough Traveler Insights.
The Verdant Chord outfit can also be evolved into Verdant Chord: Woven Melody. Fully glow it up to turn it into Verdant Chord: New Life.
Luster Covenant (4-Star)
Luster Covenant is the only free outfit in this version that uses dark color schemes right off the bat. It comes with a pretty veil that casts a shroud of mystery over Nikki, and the entire outfit is centered around dragonbones. You can get this outfit by progressing through the Departure Through the Mist story quest.
The dragonstone theme makes sense when you remember that this outfit’s ability lets Nikki control dragonbones. This can be done to form bridges, make stairways, or just generally solve Boneyard traversal puzzles.
Whispered Dreams (4-Star)
Whispered Dreams carries a fairy-like look. Nikki wears a single dress, along with a beautiful locket and what seems to be a long leaf as a headpiece. If you want this outfit for free, you must collect Dews of Inspiration and give them to Ian the Cadenceborn.
This outfit can be evolved into Whispered Dreams: Covenant. Fully glow it up to obtain Whispered Dreams: Dreamwish,
Slumber by Blossoms (5-Star)
Slumber by Blossoms is the five-star outfit that you get for completing this version’s main quest. Of course, you’ll have to collect Whimstars to get this outfit’s sketches, but the outfit itself is extremely elegant. The translucent sleeves and olden headpiece with flowers on both sides really give Nikki a dream-like look.
This outfit’s ability is called Sacred Tree's Protection: Whimsicality. Using it prompts the Lumie Tree to dispel any surrounding mist. Two Lumies also move alongside her to guide her through the mist, which is an important reference to this version’s main quest.
All Infinity Nikki 2.5 store outfits
Every new version has multiple outfits that players can acquire through Stellarite or Diamonds. This time around, players can get the following outfits from the store:
Song of Embers
Tonight's Wind and Moon is part of the Roaming Cloud Box and Gilded Days Box
From the Depth
Sweet Rhapsody
Feather's Trail
Rosie Sweetheart
Sweet Diagnosis
You can also get the 4-Star Distant Stars outfit and the 3-Star Afternoon Blossom outfit if you buy enough top ups. This is thanks to the Infinity Nikki top-up rewards event that will continue until May 28.
Conclusion
Infinity Nikki 2.5 was already the most anticipated update of the year, and it didn’t disappoint. It brought a slew of new content for players to enjoy. But the highlights have to be the awesome costumes. Whether you’re interested in the free outfits or the paid ones, this version definitely has you covered.
