What costumes are in Identity V Season 39 Essence 2?

Now, it’s time to go through what most players likely want to know, which is which costumes are in this essence. All of the costumes are categorized into one of three categories based on their rarity tiers.

S-Tier costume

Feast on This Shore Costume for the Lanternist in Identity V

Identity V Season 39 Essence 2 only has one S-Tier costume, which is the Feast on This Shore costume for the Lanternist. Considering this character was introduced in this essence, it makes sense to welcome her with an S-Tier costume.

This S-Tier costume’s lore has the Lanternist achieve a sense of being where she’s back in reality as opposed to looking for happiness. She has sharp and pointed ears and a hat that shines. She has a pair of sharp claws protruding from her extremely decorated sleeves, and her short trousers and brass knuckles complement the bandages on her outfit, wrapping it up.

This awesome outfit is obtainable through season essence, which is essentially the game’s gacha system. Players have to draw in the in-game gacha, and can receive this skin upon reaching 180 draws.

A-Tier costumes

Striding Between Realms Skin for the Puppeteer in Identity V

While there’s only one S-Tier costume in Identity V Season 39 Essence 2, there are two B-Tier ones. These costumes are the Hidden in the Night for the Hullabaloo, and the Striding Between Realms for the Puppeteer skin

The Hullabaloo skin shows the character with long silver hair that contrasts with the cracks on his cheeks. His dress is dark and filled with elegant patterns despite being slim-fitting, and the silver jewelry that keeps his broken body together is very similar to his gloves. The thing that completes his outfit is the silk threads that trail behind him, similar to wings that give him the same look as an angel of death.

Then, there’s the Striding Between Realms skin for the Puppeteer. The character has gray hair and silver ornaments to give him a unique look. The ornaments look like fangs, which establishes the costume's theme. The Puppeteer has an awesome cape, paired with leather gloves and a butterfly knife. There’s also the puppet, who has brown ears and a constant smile on his face. He also has a cape and collar.

Also being part of the season essence, players can choose one of these two skins when they reach 80 draws. The required draws are significantly less than the S-Tier costume, primarily thanks to the difference in rarity.

B-Tier costumes

Finally, there are the B-Tier costumes. While not nearly as sought after as the rarer costumes, some of these are extremely creative, and it wouldn’t be surprising if some players want to get their hands on them.

Below is a list of all the B-Tier costumes in Identity V Season 39 Essence 2:

  • Baron Brioche costume for the Aeroplanist

  • Doctor Flame costume for the Undead

  • Fairy Berylune costume for the Peddler

  • Madam Poison costume for The Shadow

  • Sleepy Mytyl costume for the Archer

All of these costumes are acquirable by rolling the logic path and drawing them from the essence. Thanks to their B-Tier rarity, they shouldn’t be too rare, and most players will likely find themselves getting their hands on the costume they want sooner rather than later.

Conclusion

This concludes all of the costumes that came with Identity V Season 39 Essence 2. The Logic Path system means that some of these costumes are reliant on the player’s luck. Because of this, a lot of players may find themselves having to pull more than expected. Of course, it's always a viable idea to buy an Identity V top up so you don’t miss out on the limited-time costumes.
