What is the Clash of Clans February season’s theme?

The Year of the Fire Horse scenery in Clash of Clans

With the Lunar New Year falling in February, this season of Clash of Clans is based on the Year of the Fire Horse. Players can expect this season’s skin and scenery to be based on the same theme.

In particular, the Year of the Fire Horse scenery is purchasable from the store throughout the season. The stunning scenery consists of a beautiful Asian-inspired background, multiple clouds, and pink flowers covering your base. While this scenery must be purchased using actual money, LootBar is the best way to ensure you don’t miss out on any other limited-time cosmetic in the game.

Speaking of other cosmetics, hero skins based on this theme will also start appearing from February 5.

  • The Monkey King skin will be purchasable in the shop from February 5

  • The Phantom Queen skin will be purchasable from February 7

  • The Ox Prince skin will be purchasable from February 11

  • The River Warden skin will be purchasable from February 13

Paired with the Red Champion skin that players can get through the Gold Pass, this season has some absolute powerhouse cosmetics for players to get.

Complete Clash of Clans February season schedule

The best thing about this particular Clash of Clans season is that Supercell has already released the complete schedule. This means that players already know when they can expect everything, ensuring they can prepare for it.

Below is the complete Clash of Clans February schedule, including dates for events such as the Clan War League and Clan Games:

  • February 1-28: Gold Pass

  • February 1-11: Clan War League

  • February 3-28: Season-exclusive scenery

  • February 5-28: Hero skins in the shop

  • February 6-13: Cloud Contest Challenge

  • February 9-26: Wise Warriors Medal Event

  • February 16-19: 2x Star Bonus Event

  • February 22-28: Clan Games & Super Troop discounts

In addition to the limited-time events, it’s recommended that you keep the 2x Star Bonus Event in mind. With the prices of upgrades increasing along with the player’s Town Hall Level, the added Star Bonus loot can help you collect the amount of gold, elixir, or dark elixir you need for your next big upgrade.

All the Clash of Clans February season changes

Clash of Clans doesn’t usually tweak things nearly as much as its sister game, Clash Royale. However, this season was different, as the game saw a handful of balance changes related to multiple defensive buildings. Some troops also got buffed, and the ranked mode saw some minor changes that should make climbing the ranks much easier than last year.

Balance changes

Clash of Clans balance changes

Below are all of the balance changes that took effect in this season. including all of the troop changes, defensive buffs and nerfs, and changes to equipment.

Defensive Building Nerfs:

  • Ricochet Cannon: Bounce damage and radius reduced

  • Multi Archer Tower: Slower attack speed, lower DPS

  • Revenge Tower (TH18): Slower attacks, lower DPS, harder stage activation

  • Multi Gear Tower (Short Range): About 10.6% damage nerf

  • Builder Hut: Movement speed reduced

Defensive Building Buffs:

  • Multi Gear Tower (Long Range): About 15% damage buff

Troop Buffs:

  • Super Archer: HP increased

  • Super Wizard: Big HP increase

  • Thrower: HP, DPS, and movement speed buff

  • E-Titan: HP increased

  • Super Minion: More long-range shots and slightly more range

  • Poison Lizard: More range and big HP buff

  • Giant Giant: AI change, less targeted by major defenses

Troop Nerfs:

  • Meteor Golem: HP and DPS reduced

Equipment Buffs:

  • MP Noble Iron: More range, shots, and attack speed

  • BK Giant Gauntlet: Better damage reduction and longer duration

In addition to all of this, there were defensive DPS, defense heroes, and offense heroes nerfs across the Legend, Masters, and Expert leagues.

Ranked Mode changes

Clash of Clans ranked mode

The ranked mode in Clash of Clans is technically still fairly new, so it makes sense that the developer is continuously making changes to ensure more players like it. Taking some fan complaints into account, Supercell made the following changes to the ranked mode in this Clash of Clans season:

  • Fixing incorrect demotion warnings

  • Faster promotions and demotions in some leagues

  • Fewer required battles in top leagues

  • Difficulty tuned based on player feedback

The Town Hall 18 meta also shifted this season, making some TH17 strategies no longer viable in TH18. This primarily stems from the fact that the Town Hall is no longer a defensive building, as well as the missing troop levels.

Conclusion

The Clash of Clans February 2026 season is one of the most thematically satisfying ones yet. The update added all sorts of cosmetics that may make you want to buy a Clash of Clans top up or two. While there aren’t any massive changes this season, it’s nice to see the developer actually going back and making some much-needed changes that ensure the existing content is polished.
